Buy! Buy! BUY NOW! These gloves are AMAZING! The four notches are easily adjustable so you can have as much or as little heat as you like. I've worn them in 20 degree weather, with a real bad wind-chill, and they've kept my hands nice and toasty. Best gear investment to date!!! Thank you RevZilla. November 17, 2013
I am extremely pleased with the Gerbing's Core Heat S-w Gloves. I have Raynaud's which gets progressivley worse each year. For the first time in years, I can now go out in the cold and not have my fingers turn white and cold! I have used the 4 hour hand warmers for years, but I still got cold fingers and thumbs. These gloves have solved that and I would recommend these gloves to anyone who knows what Raynaud's is. I live in Maine and am dealing with subzero temperatures. Thank you for alowing me to give feedback on this wonderful product! December 26, 2012
Recommend for temps between 30 and 40 These gloves work well for temps between 30 and 40 and would probably still work in the mid to high 20's. Your hands stay roughly room temp, so don't expect them to feel hot though. My only issue is that I wish the battery life was better at full power. They say you should get two hours on full power and my experience is that it's closer to an hour and a half tops. Finally they tended to run a little big for me. Mostly in the fingers which were longer then expected for the Medium size I ordered. December 10, 2012
Works great at 40-45 degrees so far! I've used these gloves a few times in the morning to work (30 miles, 10 interstate at 40-45, really about 10 degrees colder) and they've keep my hands very comfortable. Not quite toasty, but very comfortable. These morOne of my worries before the purchase was how long it would take to fully charge the batteries. It only 2 took a couple of hours to do so. After use life, the max setting used up half (one hour) as advertised. I only give them 4 stars because it remains to be seen how they fare on colder days in the winter. They are pretty pricey, but if they hold up for more than a few years, they will be worth it. I recommend them at their present condition, like I said it remains to be seen how well they hold up. Great service and product! Revzilla did an awesome job with sales and service. They sell top end products at great prices. Keep up the great work! September 26, 2012
Not as Warm as Preferred The gloves kept my hands warm in temperatures in the high 40s, however they do not get as warm as I would expect. The battery did not last nearly as long as the company says. When set at anything below the high number, you can barely feel any heat, and they simply become a heavy glove. Not sure how effective they would be in colder temperatures. They are very bulky and my hands got tired trying to grip the handles of my motorcycle. For nearly $200, I expected something much better. April 23, 2012
Just OK I have a pair of the Gerbing T5 Gloves and they are fantastic. When you turn on the T5 you feel intense heat. The S-2 Gloves are just ok I was expecting to really feel the heat when turned on in a 70 degree home, not so. On high when outside at 20 degrees they just keep the hand somewhat warm. (My hands are cold most of the time anyway) The battery life is not all that good, on high I got about 1hr 45 min. Charge time is extensive, I have charged the batteries twice and both times it took 9 hours. On a final note I have compared these gloves to the T5 and don't know if that's fair but I really thought I would feel the heat when turned on. January 23, 2012
good glove they work great if you can get by the price, well made. January 21, 2012

A shopper asked: Do these premium gloves include a Battery Charger? Or, do I have to purchase, separately? Aug 20, 2013

Edmund E: They come with the plug-in battery charger. It takes approx. 3-4 hours to charge them to full capacity. I bought this Oct 2012 and had been using them through the cold months here in NJ. They work reasonably well on 30-40 degree days (account for -10 to -20 degrees on the bike at interstate speeds). I would keep them at the hottest setting. You will not think they're warm enough but when you're on the road already and the wind is blowing, you'll aprreciate them. Any temps above 40-45 degrees, I was able to get the heat settings down to 3/4, even 1/2.

The down side for me is the price, but after a few rides in the cold... these are indespensible for me.

It remains to be seen how long the batteries last, this winter 2013 will be the second season for my gloves, so we'll see... good luck

David B: A charger is included and you don't have to totally discharge the batteries after each use. I wear them for skiing and I have purchased an extra set of batteries for all day use. My hands get very cold easily so on those zero degree ski days I put mitten covers over the gloves and I'm toasty warm all day. These gloves are not recommended for motorcycle use, however Gerbings makes gloves that plug into your motorcycle's electrical system that are very warm and well worth the money. Aug 21, 2013

Measurements for Proper Fit:

It's best to have someone do the measuring, relax and enjoy. Let your arms hang naturally by your sides. Have the measuring tape fit snugly against the body and even to the ground. Liners are meant to be worn under outerwear clothing.

  • Chest - Measure around the fullest area of the chest, holding tape firm and level. Hold arms out, place tape, drop arms and record measurement.
  • Waist - Measure loosely at your natural waistline, typically above your beltline and closer to your bellybutton.
  • Hips - Measure around the fullest part of seat while standing and while sitting. Record the higher number.
  • Outseam - Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the ankle, remember pants and pant liners will lose some length when in the sitting or riding position.
  • Sleeve Length - Measure from the top of the shoulder bone to the bottom of the wrist bone. Measure both arms as one arm may be longer than the other.
