Gerbing's Core Heat Fleece Gloves

The most common characteristics requested for the “perfect” battery powered gloves would probably be:

A. They need to be warm!
B. They can’t be bulky.
C. They need to be multi-purpose.

Well, we believe the Core Heat Fleece gloves meet these characteristics, and then some. First of all, they are engineered with Gerbing's patented Microwire™ heating technology that is woven throughout to provide an intense amount of heat that surrounds the hand with warmth. Secondly, they are constructed with a form-fitting lightweight microfleece that provides added warmth but without the bulk.

Designed for everyday use, the Core Heat Fleece gloves are the perfect gloves for around town use or at the ball game. You can use them skiing, hunting or just sledding with the kids, they are very adaptable gloves that can be used for a variety of activities.

Best on the market Though the red leds in the dark have probably made people think that Darth Vader is back - these are excellent gloves for walking etc on cold days as the heat range is adjustable. I bought them for she who must be obeyed as she suffers from poor circulation in her fingers. They are so good that she can now walk for a long time in the cold - with a bit of luck she might not come back - just joking. May 14, 2012
Do the job. These gloves do just what they say they do--keep your hands from getting cold even in the coldest weather. They do seem to run small given the measurements the company gives for sizing. I ordered a Large according to the size chart and could not even get them all the way on. I measured again, but still came up with the same size. I ordered the extra large and they fit fine but are plenty snug. The fleece stretches a good deal, especially with wearing but they are absolutely a product that runs small and needs to be sized up. The gloves are as described, comfortable and easy to wear. If you have problems with frozen fingers, these gloves really help. Expensive, but they worked for me the first time I used them.. December 12, 2011

Answer: 
For Core Heat products, the temperature control is on the battery itself. For other Gerbings products made for motorcycle use, you would need to purchase a temperature controller.

Regarding the fleece heated gloves, where is the heat in the gloves? Fingers? Back of hand? Palm?

Answer: 
Gerbing's website says, "patented Microwire™ heating technology that is woven throughout to provide an intense amount of heat that surrounds the hand with warmth." Their video says the wire covers the entire length of each finger, plus the thumb, plus the back of the hand.
