Much better than without it.
It is such a relief when you know you'll not rip your cables out of your expensive jacket when you move like 5 inches from the bike.
It's worth every penny.

Just What I Expected
What can I say. It's a cord, it works. There is the convenience that the coil provides. That is what makes it worth the money.

Excellant device
I was always getting off bike and forgetting to unplug my jacket. This cord allows me easy access on and off the bike without ever worrying about damaging my jacket or controller. Very glad a bought it.

Useful for those that forget to unplug before getting off their bike.
I bought this product for those occasions when you forget to unplug your Gerbing gear before getting off the bike and end up tripping on the wire or yanking it out of the socket. This acts as a shock cord which will flex even if you forget to unplug.

Does what it's supposed to
Good. Stays attatched. Does what it's supposed to. Gives bad stock advice though, and one time, tried to hook up with my girlfriend at a bar.
Oh, no, wait, no it didn't, it's a cable.

Does what it is supposed to do
This allows you to put your heated gear connector out of the way, and gives you freedom of movement when plugged in. First time I rode with my gear plugged in, I got monkey butt and stood up on the pegs to stretch. Oops, unplugged myself.
Bought this item, and no such problem.
Also use this in conjunction with my X moto jacket and the gerbing battery. Put the battery in the back pouch, connect to the liner via this extender, and have a warm jacket for walking around with. Great set up.

Yes, it will work with Firstgear heated gear. They have same connectors and voltage. I use it with many other brands and there is no difference in connections what so ever. If it's a coax type (and it is), it will fit.3 months, 1 week ago
