Gerbing's 12V Coil Cord Extension
My heated gear plugs were short. Sitting was OK but if I stood on the pegs, then the plugs disconnected. Now I can stand on my ADV bike and still be plugged into my heated gear. The curly cord is short enough to not be in the way and stretches when you need it to.

Great extension cord
I am using this to connect my heated gear to the Gerbing Panel Mounted Ports. It works perfectly and keeps off the paint of the bike due to the coil.

The coil cord is a nice addition to give you the ability to move around in the saddle and to stand while riding
Very pleased with the cord. Gives me the ability to move around in the saddle and stand while riding and not be concerned with pulling the cord out of the plug.

A truly amazing cable
Revzilla sent me an email to review this cable and what can I say but it is simply the best cable I have ever seen. It moves those electrons like Ducatti on the streets of Rome early on a summer morning. And the coils. How do they do that? they really stretch and then spring back. It is simply magic and I have spent hours entertained by this simple yet incomprehensible mystery. The plastic is an elegant black, all shiny and smooth. The ends are metal and plastic and they just slide into the powerlet outlet on my BMW like nobody's business.

Gerbing's Coil Cord Extension Fantastic
The Gerbing's Coil Cord Extension Is a Fantastic product, I love the 90 degree connection letting the cord to lay low and to stay out of my way. And the cord being coiled let it stretch to the length only needed and not having extra cord hanging and in the way.

Should've just gotten the straight cable
While the coil cable does the job, it is very heavy and feels like it could come disconnected because of the weight of the cable. Just a 2 foot straight cable I think would work better for extending the coax connection.

Much better than without it.
It is such a relief when you know you'll not rip your cables out of your expensive jacket when you move like 5 inches from the bike.
It's worth every penny.
