A shopper asked: How thick are they? will they fit under these gloves:Alpinestars Stella WR-3 Gore-Tex Gloves? without their included liner of course Mar 18, 2015

Bryan M: The hand part isn't especially thick. I'd say double the thickness of a thin liner. The wrist part is more thick though as it contains the button, and some padding. The battery is supposed to tuck into that area, but I actually store it inside my jacket in the forearm area.

For me, this liner does fit inside my Rev'it Gore Tex glove but it's pretty snug. I should have gotten a size smaller, so make sure your liner is snug and it should fit.

If you're doing shorter rides you could also get a splitter and store the battery in your jacket with the wires leading to the gloves. Obviously the battery will drain much faster.

James H: They're a little thicker than a standard (unheated) liner. I found they didn't fit under my standard gloves very well so I'm looking for some XL or even XXL gloves (I normally take L). The main thing is that they have sizable battery packs so they're not going to fit under anything with a gauntlet. Mar 19, 2015

Bruce B asked: Sizing... i'm borderline M/L (8.75" palm). Are the fingers short on the medium? Oct 29, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Nicole E: I don't have experience with the medium, but I have short fingers and I found the xs to be much too long and too big. But that may be because they're not specifically womens gloves. If all the gloves run big like that, you'd probably be fine with the Medium. Nov 12, 2014

Measurements for Proper Fit:

It's best to have someone do the measuring, relax and enjoy. Let your arms hang naturally by your sides. Have the measuring tape fit snugly against the body and even to the ground. Liners are meant to be worn under outerwear clothing.

  • Chest - Measure around the fullest area of the chest, holding tape firm and level. Hold arms out, place tape, drop arms and record measurement.
  • Waist - Measure loosely at your natural waistline, typically above your beltline and closer to your bellybutton.
  • Hips - Measure around the fullest part of seat while standing and while sitting. Record the higher number.
  • Outseam - Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the ankle, remember pants and pant liners will lose some length when in the sitting or riding position.
  • Sleeve Length - Measure from the top of the shoulder bone to the bottom of the wrist bone. Measure both arms as one arm may be longer than the other.
