GB Racing Protection Bundle Triumph Daytona 675/R/Street Triple/R
TIght fit, sharp looking, no fairing adjustments needed
I just finished installing the set and haven't gone down thankfully so I can just comment on installation and general quality. The parts fit very nicely and snug over existing parts. They are lightweight and look great. I really nice product. No modifications of the bike were needed which was a selling point for me. I had to buy an 8mm allen key which I didn't have. To get the puck on the frame slider base you actually need a long skinny 8mm which is annoying because I now need to go back to the store; and I don't even know if I will be able to find one. The average socket component (which is not wide to begin with) is too fat to fit into the sleeve to tighten the bolt. The ease of installation was a breeze for someone without any mechanical experience. Getting the fairings off of a Triumph 675R was actually the most time consuming and annoying aspect...thank you to youtube to help get through the ordeal. Why all track bikes can't have simple clip fasteners like Ducatis have is beyond me but I digress. Can't go wrong with this set and the package price is a good value. Now I have more confidence riding around and you don't really notice the added parts; they aren't cheesy.

Easy install, high quality
I installed this bundle today on my 2012 Triumph Street Triple R. I actually needed it last year because my bike fell over when I did not have the kickstand down all the way. However the new protector covers the scratches I got on the alternator cover so the bike looks good as new now.
I cannot testify to the performance or durability of this item in a crash, but it looks very well made. It is a nylon material that is meant to take the brunt of a crash so I expect it to need replacement after a bad time. That will mean it did its job as far as I am concerned.
I did find it much easier to install than I expected. You only remove about half of the screws on the alternator and clutch cover so you do not need to worry about gaskets that need to be replaced or the like. Everything fit well, but you do need to keep the screws on the covers loose until you got them all seated and started. The hardest installation was the frame sliders because there is a hard-to-get nut on the front engine bolt, but with patience it can be done.
Depending on your toolkit you may have to pick up a couple of sockets or drives. There are some deep access hex head bolts on the alternator and clutch covers so I needed to get a deep 8mm socket (2" long).
It looks great!

Everything fits well for '14 STriple except R frame slider
Everything was very easy to install except the right hand frame slider so if you are not very handy you will find this difficult to put on your 2014 Street Triple despite the fact Revzilla says it is suitable for this bike. The fairing hits the frame slider bracket so you will need to remove the right fairing, and use spacers and a longer bolt. I think this should have been included in the kit.
Overall the stuff looks great - the frame sliders are barely noticeable and GB has been highly recommended to me as being good quality.
