GB Racing Bullet Race Frame Sliders Daytona 675 / R / Street Triple / R
Made with the same long glass fiber nylon materials as the race-proven GB Racing secondary engine covers and other equipment. This advanced injection molded composite resists cracking and fracturing upon impact, absorbs energy and has low abrasion qualities for extended contact with the pavement or tarmac. Forward facing hardware provides a solid surface to the side of the motorcycle which helps maximize protection.
‘Race’ designed, for mounting under or flush with the fairing thus virtually eliminating 'bike flipping'
Reducing damage to frame and other costly parts
Another point contact for sliding, in conjunction with engine case covers
Aluminum tubular design absorbing impact and distortion
Bolt cap head is always 5mm away from stock mounting position - minimizing the leverage
Bike must be modified to fit slider
This is a mixed review. I have a 2013 triumph street triple R. I was not informed that the right side slider cannot be installed without some modifications to the bike The sliders themselves are great. Left side slider installs fine. Right side slider is a different story. Once right side slider is installed plastic red R cover is held out by bracket and will not clip back on. Mounting track must be cut down. Metal mounting clip on bike must be trimmed in two places, shimmed out with 4 small washers, longer screw needed because of shimming and rubber donut trimmed on one side. All this so not to interfere with engine and bracket of slider. I'm very mechanical but if your not I'd pass on buying these until GB Racing comes out with ones that fit the frame of the 2013 TSTR. I had already opened them so I struggled thru seeing if it was possible to install them. All turned out great. Can't even see that I slightly shimmed one side cover. Looks great. So Beware! After market parts most times need slight modifications.

2013 ZX10r. You Need more than these to protect the bike
So the installation was easy and very straight forward. There was no cutting of any plastic. They took about 10 minutes to install them. I used Blue loctite to make sure there were no vibration issues and then torqued to specs. Simple instructions. These are very nice looking and minimal on the bike as frame sliders go. I think for adequate protection you would also need to buy case protectors. Kawasaki has them as OEM accesories. I would recommend them also. Overall very nice product and quality. Had to knock off a little because of requiring additional protection for the fairings.

Saves your bike!
Great Set of frame sliders, there are different types of falls as we can all agree upon.
low side and high side.
on low side - the gb racing frame slider will not bend the frame or damage the fairing as it shaves and slides on contact with ground.
on high side - anything could happen!!!
conclusion all depends on the fall- but definitely can say that these are better than the R&G sliders, as I have seen over 3 or 4 bikes with the non-drill products bend the frame due to impact on the right side of the S1000rr.

I feel better now
If you have an expensive bike, I think a set of frame sliders is a must. This set is good because they aren't huge and aren't sticking out like a toilet paper roll (which in theory could cause your bike to flip if a slider caught on something while sliding). This is the race set so they don't stick out as far as the street set. For some reason, the right one sticks out more than the left, so that's a bit odd. Also, be warned you will have to drill a hole in your fairing (I used a 7/8 bit) to put on the right one. I managed to get it right the first time. Miracles do happen! If you're squeamish, take them to your favorite shop for installation. I didn't get the "no cut" type sliders some companies sell because I just don't trust them, structurally. All in all, I'm glad to have them on the bike.
