Works Great and well made!
This product provided everything I needed. It is very versatile and would fit a variety of mounting conditions. I put on my BMW GSA and love it. I primarily ride on road and it works great. Fully adjustable and user friendly.

Tony V:This may not answer your question as it appears that what you are looking to do is mount directly to your control housing. Please excuse me if I am wrong in that assumption. For what it is worth, I have had this style mount on the left side handlebar utilizing the included U-bolt directly to the bar on my 2007 BMW R1200GS with a ZUMO 550 for several years and have not had any issues with it breaking, coming loose, etc. and I have unfortunately dropped this bike several times! Good luck with your project!Jun 8, 2015
C R R:HI. I'm not sure where you intend to mount it when you talk about handlebar controls or what bike it is you have. I have used the bracket supplied and attached it to the handlebar on my Yamaha 1200 Super Tenere adjacent to the handle bar clamp. It can be mounted either side in this case.Jun 7, 2015
