Gaerne G.Flow Boots 4.6 5 11 11
Super Comfortable! This is my first pair of real riding boots and they are much more comfortable out of the box than i expected. No break in time for me! Lots of rain here in TX lately and my feet have kept dry. Would highly recommend. I wear a size 13 in normal shoes with a slightly wider than "normal" foot. I ordered the size 13, and these are perfect. June 5, 2015
Love these boots, fit perfect, and waterproof!! Love these boots, fit perfect, and waterproof!! I'm a shorter guy around 5'7 and these boots give me great grip and an inch or two. Already water tested them 3 times in 2 months, they keep my feet 100% dry, couldnt ask for a better boot. August 17, 2014
good boot for the price Was looking to replace my Daytona boots that had served me well for 10 years. But I could not believe how expensive the Daytona's had become in the past ten years, so I tried to find an alternative. The Gaerne G. Flow has the same basic style as the Daytona, but not quite the same boot. The Gaerne fits large in the heel area of the boot. I had to return the first pair because they were so loose in the heel that I am convinced they would have come off my foot in the event of an unplanned exit from the saddle. The next pair were a little more snug in the heel, but still loose, and now a little tighter around the toe. But for riding they are fine, would not want to walk very long in them. I have ridden in several heavy rains, and they are waterproof as advertised. Have ridden them on fairly cold days (in the 20's) and they keep my feet warm, but have not ridden longer than 30 min in cold weather. I like that the zipper and velcro closures are located on the inner upper of the boot. They are high enough that jeans stay below the top of the boot which is a good thing. Overall not a bad boot, and a good value for the money. Not as good as my old Daytona's which in my opinion are the best boot I have ever had, but unfortunately are now cost prohibitive. Great Boots If you buy a less protective ,shorter , or more ventilated boot you will need to buy 2 pair of boots. I ride a BMW 1200 ST twin and these boots divert the heat from the cylinders when it is hot. When it is more mild they are perfect, when it gets cold they will be warm enough with a heavy pair of socks. Plus they will always be water proof. Conservative styling and beautiful leather. Very comfortable and easy on/off. They aren't race boots ,and I'm not a racer. They will be great for Sport Touring. These boots are GREAT. {and so is Revzilla] August 15, 2013
Very comfortable and able to be worn for hours with ease I should start by saying that I have never liked wearing boots in general. However, I wanted the protection that boots offered while riding as I am new to the hobby. These boots are super comfortable and almost feel like wearing household slippers. They are flexible out of box and continue to soften up during use. I was concerned about feet getting hot, since they do not have any vents. I have wore them for several hours straight in 85-90 deg weather. They did not feel overly hot while being worn being nor feet too soaked when taking off. I may invest in some wicking socks might. So far, I have been wearing ankle socks. No irritation from top of boot using the ankle socks. Grip on the pavement is reassuring. Can feel the shifter and brake pedal without too much vibration from the pegs. Only minor qualm would be for more "rigid" protection around the ankle area. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase decision and would highly recommend to other to consider. Fit and finish is superb. June 4, 2013
Great value. I have worn these boots all through the winter and they kept my feet warm and dry. I normally wear a 43, but I found a 44 (10) fitted me better. A little stiff at first, but soon softened up. Excellent value for money, although my only slightly negative comment would be that my leather pants sometimes ride up and 'almost' come out of the top of the boots. Would I buy another pair, you bet. April 25, 2013
Great boots, don't overlook them I love these boots. I've probably put about 4-500 miles on them so far, and they're very comfortable. I wanted a shorter, protective, comfortable boot for everyday riding, and didn't want to drop more than $200. These fit the bill perfectly. I found the size to be right on - I wear an 11.5 in most shoes, and ended up having to go with the 12 in the Gaerne's. The finish is very good - nice leather, love the sole, works fine under jeans. The sole is quite comfortable, and the interior mesh is very nice. I wouldn't want to walk far in these, but you can walk around without feeling like a troll. The footbed is nice and wide (as opposed to my Pumas). If you have a wide foot, these might work well for you. The protection is pretty solid - especially at this price point. I recommend watching the Revzilla breakdown for the Gaerne G-Impulse (the sister boot to this model) - the boots are pretty similar and Anthony goes through the features much better than I'll be able to. The zip closures work very well, and there's a velcro flap to keep the zipper tab from flapping around when you're riding. Gripes: I do wish they had half-sizes, I have to wear very thick socks (which I generally do for longer rides, so it's not a big deal). That's about it. I love the boots. Highly recommended. Great pair of boots for commuting and long rides Had these boots for 6 months now. Use them to commute to work and also long 8-10 hour rides. Covered about 12,000km in them through tropical rain and hot sunny days. This boot always kept my feet dry in tropical rain and even when water get in the boots, it drys up pretty fast. During sunny days, my feet does not feel hot and sweaty. Excellent to walk in. Use them in the office and in shopping malls. Being Italian made, the design blends well with jeans and tailored pants. Overall, love these boots for its features, protection and comfort it gives. Recommend to all riders commuting and long distance riders. February 20, 2013

Richard S: They are. There's a pretty beefy zipper on the inside of each boot with a velcro strap at the top to keep the zipper from flopping around. You can see the seam in the product picture right above the arch extending to the top of the boot. Oct 13, 2014

Abdulla A asked: Are these boots comfortable to wear all day at work in the office? May 9, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Charles H T: I don't know about office wear or even wearing at work since I've left all that and settled into retirement. That said, I recently spent a 6 1/2 hour day in these boots on a 75 degree day. My commute was to run errands and pick up needed supplies in the big city. On and off the bike what seemed like dozens of times and then dueling with traffic along with hiking all through big box home improvement stores or warehouses - many miles and then standing in check out lines.

My feet never felt overly warm and sweaty. When I took the boots off my socks were relatively dry for me. For new boots, my second day out with them, I had no sore spots. They are soft and pliable. The ankle armor does not cause problems The shafts are not too high and did not abuse my shins. The lack of a pronounced heel, this is a motorcycle boot, is noticeable in walking. The soles seemed adequate but I would choose a different boot for hiking or long term walking and standing. The removable insoles could be upgraded and I may do so for various reasons.

Fit. I bought a size 10 ( these are actually marked inside as a US 10, Euro 44 1/2). I wear a 10 to 10 1/2 D or E in a true size last. I'm glad I didn't order an 11. Width is a bit misleading as the toe box for me is tight and the heel loose. The length is spot on. My boots are going to get new thicker more cushiony insoles pronto. I will wear these boots all day again and the better insole will be more comfortable walking and hopefully anchor my heels better.

William K: No. And I'm not sure they should be. They are intended to serve a specific purpose. I don't get on my bike without them but I also throw in a pair of sneakers in case I need to walk any distance. I think they can actually be dangerous on certain surfaces. Great boots for riding; not intended for long hours walking or sitting in an office. May 9, 2015

Christopher S: These boots are fairly comfortable, but I don't think they would be all-day office comfy. I found they run a little large and very wide as well. If you're headed to the office in these, I'd leave a pair of loafers at your desk. Jun 4, 2015

Atsumu M: According to the informative note attached with the products, CE labelling in the boots that certifies the conformity of the protective footwear for motorcycle riders with the requirments of the 89/686 EEC Directive. I've found out the label in my boots definitely. Jan 20, 2015

A S: Thank you very much. Jan 21, 2015
Jeffrey T: Don't know what CE is in reference to? Jan 20, 2015
Reply to Jeffrey Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
A S: It's basically a certification from Europe that certifies the protective qualities of a riding gear. This information comes normally in the product or in the products box. It's the only real parameter to know if a gear truly does its function of protecting . This product for example is CE certified:
