Frogg Toggs Bull Frogg Pants
Good for emergencies, but not long term use
These are low quality, inexpensive pants so I wasn't expecting much.
I bought them a summer trip across the US and Canada. They did an okay job the first time I used them in heavy rain, but ended up splitting straight up the leg inseam the second time I wore them.
They just aren't durable pants.

This is a case where you get what you pay for.
In this case it is an emergency pair of rain pants which will keep you dry through a couple rides but are not for daily or extended use. I purchased these before heading out on a 2 week motorcycle/camping trip where we typically pick up one-two rainy days. This year we had more like 5 days of solid rain. I liked these pants enough that I picked up a matching jacket at a local hardware store along the way. The pants and jacket fit over my less water resistant equipment and kept me warm and dry over several days of rainy cold motorcycling. The pants were pretty beat up by the end and I pitched them when I got home but the wife liked the jacket enough that she took it as an emergency backup to the Italian Alps the week after I got home.

Not really waterproof at all, Not really breathable either.
These aren't the worst rain gear I have ever owned, but they aren't even close to waterproof. They will slow the water down, and are mostly windproof, so they will help retain heat. You get very hot in these if you are trying to work or do any physical movement. Not as hot as heavy rubber rain gear, so they are somewhat breathable compared to heavy rubber, but if you spend any time in serious rain, you will be very wet wearing these. I take these over heavy rubber rain gear if I am working, but if you are riding, or doing anything like pressure washing , you will be completely drenched at some point. They are better than a lot of your cheap rain gear, so I would recommend them, but don't buy them thinking you are going to stay dry in real rain.

Fits like you expect
I'm 6'0 190 lbs and a large is perfect for me. Haven't gotten them wet yet so time will tell. Not too baggy so I'm happy.

Good, cheap, rain pants
I bought these pants because I wanted something that would pack up small and fit in a relatively small pocket in my back-pack so that I would always have rain-pants with me for any unexpected rainy weather. These definitely fit the bill - they roll up and stow away nicely.
Have only used them in the rain once but they kept me nice and dry without over heating. Definitely run a little large - I ordered an XL and feel that I probably could have gotten away with an L. The "pockets" that are really just zippers that let you get your hands through to your pants pockets underneath are a nice touch and make it easier to fish your keys or change out.

Good inexpensive waterproof pants
These Frogs Toggs overpants are light and easily packable. I have not used this pair yet, but all of the other products I have used from them has proven to be waterproof and fairly durable.

Good and Simple
These are great for the beginning parts of summer, summer, and the first part of fall. When i first got them i was slightly disappointed with the type of material is was made from(similar to reusable grocery bag material) and expected they would fall apart quickly. After a few months of random use they are still holding together without any fraying. First time I used them it POURED rain but i didn't have a waterproof jacket so when i got home my legs were completely soaked. The second time I actually had my waterproof jacket with me and rode for about a half hour in consistent rain. When i arrived I expected to have dry and wet patches on my actual pants. I was pleasantly surprised to find my pants completely dry. The temp of the material with water on them makes you think the water has seeped through when it actually hasn't. I also like the through zipper side pockets making it easy to access your Actual pants pockets. Another perk is they flatten out pretty well when in my backpack so they don't take up a lot of space.
The ankle straps aren't the greatest but do their job.

Great pants to have in the bags
I got these to live in my bags until that day I'm caught in the rain. I've had the opportunity to wear them a few times now. Once was an absolute downpour (realized I'd be needing new tires soon on that day) and these pants kept me nice and dry. I had read some reviews where the pocket zippers were an issue, but I did not have that problem.
