The Titan Pro Elbow Guard features full plastic forearm, elbow and triceps coverage backed up by special impact resistant foam and a soft bio-foam base. Security comes from the silicone gripper on the foam chassis and three elastic adjustable straps.
Almost Perfect Elbow Guard
I don't think you will find a better elbow guard for the price for off road riding, I bought this for enduros and dual sporting. I ordered a L/XL and am 5ft 9in about 190lbs, with a slim build. Excellent low profile styling that fits under a jersey with ease.
I would recommend a long sleeve shirt or compression shirt however to prevent chafing. The straps could cause some discomfort over time. The best thing about this elbow guard is the cup for the elbow has a nice bit of grip and the sleeve portion of the armor also has a bit of silicone. This locks the armor right in place and it prevents it from moving while riding. It is an excellent addition that I hadn't seen considered in other guards.
As for protection it seems to be really tough, I smacked my elbow plenty of times without any damage. Also the fact that the armor extends up the tricep is a big advantage compared to other guards. Only this and the alpinestars had an extension like this. The two downsides i find with the armor is that the forearm protection isn't very long, it leaves about three inches open on my forearm. It just seems a bit small overall. But this is a trade off I am willing to live with for the tricep armor and i'm not concerned about it. Also the soft armor under the hard shell could be a little more substantial, as the armor is not CE Rated my guess is we are losing a little protection for the slim profile.
The lower profile soft armor seems to help with air flow, plenty of big vents and holes keep your arm cool. Now this only is considered if you wear it without a jersey or over a jersey. I do not see how this would fit over a jersey, it is still a bit too small for that. But I can't knock the air flow since it is covered by my jersey.
Great piece of armor and worth a buy if you need something to supplement your chest and shoulder protection.

francisco s: By the looks of the picture and description they look very well made . I hope I never have to find out .Aug 4, 2014
Jeff P: Appears to be a robust pair of elbow guards with sufficient straps and materials to keep them in place. Now that I have received them, the XL size is too small for my average build forearms. Wish I could use them, but they are way too tight.Jul 29, 2014
