Highly recommended as an upgrade even for high end gear.
Feel is incredible and protection level is HIGHER than most stock armor. These are a no-brainer, even on my high end jacket, I swapped out the armor (which was very good) for these. They are absolutely worth it!!! Compared to stock CE armor, these feel like you are not wearing armor BUT they are CE level 2!! So better protection and they are more comfortable!

Excellent product
I can't believe I waited so long to replace my elbow armor. They have a little bit bigger "footprint" than stock armor but the fit and feel is amazing. The breathability cannot be compared to stock, it is simply on another planet. I would absolutely recommend these to everyone and anyone thinking about upgrading. You won't regret spending the few extra bucks

Great fit and superior protection!
Awesome replacements for the stock pads in my new Olympia Moto Quest jacket. These pliable net pads are immediately more comfortable & form fitting. Elbow pads went right in and the shoulder pads only needed minor trimming- used the stock shoulder pads as a template. Yes, they are heavier than stock but I believe that the added protection is well worth it. Bought the jacket pads after purchasing a Forcefield Sub4 back protector which turned out to be the most comfortable armor I've ever worn. Will be replacing the knee & hips pads with Forcefield asap! ~Corvus

A little overkill for most riding situations
These are definitely some of the best pads i own as far as protection and and air flow are concerned. I use these in my River Road mesh jacket for warmer summer days and never overheat. I slid out last week while wearing these, and my elbows (despite catching most of my weight) were one of the few parts of my body not bruised.

The fit however is a little awkward, and on tighter fitting jackets you will find them annoying. The edge of the padding is not chiseled or sloped, while the back wraps behind your elbow a little too much for comfort when your arm is straightened. I probably voided the warranty, but I actually had to cut some of the top of the padding off to fit more comfortable around the top side (backside) of my elbow.

Level 2 at a good price!
These fit perfectly in the pockets of my Hein Gericke Timbuktu Air Camo Jacket. When arms are in riding position, I don't even notice them. While walking the upper edge does tend to rub a bit but no biggie. Seems to conform to arm a little more each day. Really a nice addition. Can't really say anything about Durability yet but really seems to be a solid piece of armor.

More protection, flexibility, and comfort.
I bought this to replace the stock armor in a forcefield pro shirt, and am quite pleased with the purchase. Though the armor fits slightly smaller than the stock armor, it still fits fine in the pockets of the shirt. These newer CE level 2 pads are far more flexible and comfortable than the older ones. They also flow air much better and are cool to the touch making them a very comfortable upgrade in terms of protection.

nice ugrade
I have some pekev lined jeans (Resurgence - very nice fit - and have held up well for camping/touring) that have ce 1 knee armor. These were a nice upgrade.

Unlike the d30 armor, this stuff allows you to attach velcro. A 1" wide strip with some shoe goo and the armor was in place. The armor is very flexible and reasonably light.

It does have a distinct curvature - it works for me in both the knees and the shoulder, but you can see where they bonded the flat version to create the final shape. If it's too curved, you could just slice at those joints and you'd have the flat version.

Good fit
I've tried a lot of different types of knee armor in my kevlar jeans, but none of them end up being comfortable on long rides. Even the d30 stuff pressed against my knee caps (ok so I have little birdy legs) and after 6 hours in the saddle, I was in a lot of pain, sometimes even had bruises.
I'm glad I tried these- they've been excellent. Sure they're not exactly 'stealth' when off the bike, but when I get on to ride, they accommodate my er... prominent kneecaps rather well. Armorwise, they seem rather stout, too. Wish they were tapered at top and bottom but we can't have everything.

Thought these would be a good alternative to the Rokker D30. Unfortunately they were not. They are a bit more bulky so they do not seat like they need to in the pant.

Has the best brand reputation, highest CE ratings, and was looking to install some armor in a new jacket that didn't come with any.
Amos W on Feb 2, 2016
I purchased the replacement armor to upgrade some existing armor I already had in a jacket. Unlike the Forcefield back protectors (I've got two and they are awesome) the "NET" elbow and shoulder pads are just oaky. They don't seem to really provide as much protection as I was hoping for. I ended up customizing them with my own, homemade added padding.

Purchased this replacement armor for Dianese Alien leather pants, which come with full length, hard shell knee and shin armor. Dianese shin armor limited proper fit over the boot, and completely prevented in- boot wear for me in Sidi boots. This armor is lightweight and meets my needs. I will have to add additional Velcro to pant in order to keep this armor properly positioned high in the knee pocket.

Will this fit the knee pockets of the Klim Latitude pant?
Daniel B on Aug 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I haven't had a problem using the knee/elbow pads in any of my Klim gear, or rev'it gear. I don't see why they wouldn't fit in the majority of the industries elbow/knee pockets.
Hello I was wondering if any force field armor fits roland sand's jackets or do you need the one especially made for roland sands?
Carlos A on Sep 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not positive but most are pretty much the same if you have pockets you put the armor into. I have a Hein Gericke Timbuktu Air Camo Jacket and it fit right into the elbow pockets. My wife has an Firstgear TPG Monarch Jacket and it fit right into her elbow pockets. Back armor is a little more specific than shoulder & elbow armor in my experience.
Hey does this fit a Speed & Strength Off the Chain 2.0?
A shopper on Jul 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't know about the Speed & Strength Off the Chain 2.0 but I bought the knee, elbow and shoulder pads for my Olympia Airglide 4 jacket and pants and they fit great. They feel awkward when you are standing but they really fit in place when I am on my bike. I think they are a little heavier than the original foam they are replacing but that is a worth while trade off for the better fit and protection while in the riding position and while riding I don't notice the weight. I think the Forcefield Net Replacement Armor construction also flows air which the original armor did not which is great when the temperatures are 70 degrees and above.

I recommend them if they fit. Revzilla customer service line should be able to answer your question.
Will these fit into a Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 Jacket in the shoulders? I want to replace the current armor the jacket comes with and I am between these or the Forcefield Replacement Elbow Armor (the grey ones). Which one will fit better and/or which one is more protective over all?
Allan B on May 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I couldn't give you an answer as to jacket fit, but from experience I can say that I have purchased two sets of armor for my girlfriend and I and both sets fit within the armor pouches of jackets by difference companies. As for as protection, these are tops.
Can anyone confirm that this armor actually fits in the Rukka Armas jacket armor pockets?
Arne B on May 27, 2014

Hi,

Would this be an option in upgrading a Rukka Armas RVP Airs to the latest and best protection level?

Or are you recommending something else for the Armas?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Definitely recommended. More flexible and arguably more comfortable than D3O Tech. Lightweight, doesn't retain heat, 9mm thick throughout. The elbow pieces are bulkier than street options (like any good race armour) but very protective and confidence inspiring. CE Level 2.
Does anyone know if this armor can be used with the women's Dainese Alien Pant? Thanks in advance!
