Great knee armor
I bought these because I wanted CE Level 2 Knee protection.

I put them into my Bull-it SR6 jeans and they just barely fit with the lower Velcro strips being blocked. I am not sure if this is OK or not but you could trim the armor a little to make it fit perfectly.

I also tried them in my Icon Raiden UX pants and these fit perfectly with no issues.

I definitely would buy these again.

Spot on
I just got these in the mail with the shoulder armor, and they fit spot on with no trimming. I have a Grayson jacket by Fox Creek Leather and all the armor pieces fit. My jacket is SM.

Excellent replacement
I bougth a set of this and the shoulder pads and they really do the job. Fitment was a little strande in the beggining but it was because I coudn't place tha pads in the rigth spot. After figuring this out the pads are really comfortable they get the form of tha bidy and you don't even feel it. Awesome

Great knee armor upgrade
Stock pre-molded armor in my Tourmaster Venture Air pants was very uncomfortable and I ended just riding without it most of the time which defeats the purpose of having armor in the first place. The RevZilla.com staff recommended this flat armor and it has been just what I needed. Just finished a 3700 mile trip and this armor remained comfortable and pain free......can't comment on its protective abilities in a crash but the pads are solid and of good build quality! Seems like they would work well....

Comfortable, quality upgrade
While I hope to never put these to the real test, I am impressed with the Forcefield shoulder, elbow and back protectors I recently bought. They fit perfectly into my Fox Creek Leather Vented Racing jacket, adding an extra level of protection without the uncomfortable stiffness of other protection options. Highly recommended.

Fit great in Klim Traverse Jacket
I hate d3o armor that comes in Klim jackets. So I went with a Traverse jacket and bought this armor with it. They are a direct fit for the elbow armor pockets. They are quite a bit larger and thinner. Much softer in all temps as well. Highly recommended for all d3o upgrades.

Armor... you know.
haven't needed it in a crash, and I went out on a limb ordering this, along with the CE2 shoulder and spine protection for my River Road Mesa jacket. These fit pretty well in the sewn mesh liner pockets, and will most likely do well to protect me in a crash. I haven't needed them, and hopefully won't.

No strange odor, or trimming necessary to make them fit in my jacket.

I like that they're cut to contour to the particular joint, and lay flat in the jacket, so you don't have pokey elbows like otherhard armor.

If i had to point out a downside, they're heavier than the stock foam pads that were included. With both elbows, shoulders and spine protectors installed in the jacket, it added probably 6-8 lbs to the jacket. Can't really feel it while wearing the jacket, and even if it did, I'd consider it worth it.

Very flexible. Less bulky.
Bought this for my husband to use in his TourMaster Flex pants. He was having trouble with the tight fit around the knee area. After replacing the included knee armor with these Forcefields, his pants fit great. They are very flexible and it doesn't look like there's anything in the knees.

For Aerostich Dariens
Revzilla delivered these overnight which was awesome. I also ordered the hip protectors as well. Guess you say that I've drank the Forcefield cool-aid. Have their back insert on my Klim Induction jacket as well. Anyhow, for those of you thinking about these knee protectors on Aerostich Dariens, don't bother with their sleeve that they sell. You are better off making your own with some fabric and sew on velcro. Once I had them configured properly, I feel much better about commuting each day. These actually feel like they'll do some protecting and hope that I never get to find out. Oh and yes they do leave that new plastic smell, which I actually like! Feels like I'm putting on a fresh new pair of pants each day!

Fit well, stays in place
Other than being heavier than I thought it would be, I found it fit well in the pockets of my Power Trip Supercharger 2 jacket and it stays in place. I gave the Airlfow a four only because it's still very cool riding weather here in MA (April) and I'm still running a heated jacket liner, so I can't really judge that aspect. It does look like it will allow air to pass through easily enough.

I also got the Net Flat shoulder armor, Forcefield 4-Layer Hip Armor (for Olympia Mesh Overpants) and Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro. The same applies to those pieces. The BackPad is very heavy and thick. Off the bike it feels like I have a backpack on. On the bike I don't really notice the armor.

It is explicitly stated to be CE EN6121-1 rated. A lot of manufacturers just say "CE Approved" without actually stating the exact rating - without which "CE Approved" means nothing, because it could be rated for skateboards or bicycles for all you know. Or even (heh heh) "China Export". Plus, it is flat and not pre-spherical-sectioned, so it can be molded to suit your individual shape.

Brand, protection rating.
Hutson on Apr 24, 2016
High level of protection without a lot of bulkiness. Forcefield reviews were the best of the various armor manufacturers.

Recently picked up a pair of fully Kevlar lined jeans that came with CE L1 forcefield armor and fully Para-aramid lined jeans that came with CE L1 D3O armor and I wanted to upgrade to the CE L2 in the knees (riding with pro level Forcefield Action Shorts so tossed the hip armor that came with the jeans).

the knee armor that came with the Kevlar Jeans i purcahsed was very bulky and uncomfortable, this offers more protection, more comfort, and isn't noticeable at all when off the bike.

I have been a Forcefield fan for quite some time now. Comfortable, solid and protective upgrades only increase safety in event of unwanted occurrence and simply put, make sense.
Steven L on Feb 20, 2015
Bought a leather jacket with armor pockets. The armor from Revzilla was cheaper and possibly an upgrade from the forcefield armor offered through the jacket manufacturer's website.

: I am interested in buying this item for my Harley Davidson Men’s Skull Waterproof Fleece Jacket which has insert pockets. But I am not sure if this will fit, will it?
Manny the MC on Apr 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They are bigger in person, I had to send them back because they were too big for everything I had. I guess you could trim them up if you want.
Will this fit as replacement armor for an Aerostich Roadcrafter Classic suit? If not, is there a version that does from Forcefield?
A S on Aug 7, 2014
How thick is the armor?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Its also a lot heavier than I expected.
The shoulder armor is a little too big for my jacket (Revit Tornado). Anyone have luck trimming the armor to size?
Michael G on Aug 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Forcefield Net armor fit my riding jeans (knees) without trimming. From what I have researched, Forcefield armor can be trimmed; often shoulder upgrade applications require this. Personally, if I use the the armor in a different article of apparel than the riding jeans, I would not hesitate to trim it. However, other Forcefield armor with tape-rim (e.g., back armor), I would not modify since it would defeat the purpose of the non-chafing edge design. Hope this helps.
these protections are compatible with REV'IT SAND PANTS?
