The award winning and best-selling Forcefield Back Protector Pro L2 has evolved into the all new Pro L2K (Kevlar®) and is now constructed using Kevlar® thread for increased strength and durability. 

Kevlar® has 5 times the tensile strength of steel along with high cut and abrasion resistance and ensures the strongest back protector available just got stronger!

Combined with NitrexEvo® a unique high-tech triangular shock absorbing material the Forcefield Pro L2K (Kevlar®) back protector is designed to be soft, flexible and comfortable whilst still providing maximum impact protection and conforms to, and exceeds the CE test EN1621-2:2003 Level 2 the highest possible level.  NitrexEvo® provides Repeat Performance Technology (RPT) to ensure that even after multiple impacts there is no loss of protective performance and 3D moulds to closely fit the contours of the riders back creating the ultimate in all day comfort. 

The Pro L2K is constructed in multiple layers that are stitched and perforated in such a way as to allow partial movement of the inner layers. This movement has a dual purpose, to make the protector more comfortable by allowing it to mould to the body shape and to pump air through the multiple perforations to build up and ventilate between the back when in use.

Fully adjustable shoulder straps and double waist adjustment ensure a correct fit for different body shapes and sizes.

Exelent back protector I had tried other brand of back protectors but this one impressed me on how different it is with the strong soft armor. It just seems to contour to your back; very comfortable. I'm 5'9'' and the medium fit perfectly. May 9, 2013

Buy it! I went back and forth on whether to go with a back insert or the L2K to replace the foam in my Revit tornado jacket. I decided on the L2K for several reasons. 1) It had coverage for the tail bone. 2) I could wear it under any jacket I buy in the future and wouldn't need to cut it. 3) It will stay put in the event of a crash vs an insert. As far as comfort goes, I just came back from a weekend ride where I was on the bike for hours at a time. I didn't have any issues with it. No sore spots or uncomfortableness while riding. It starts out a little stiff when you put it on but once it warms up it contours to your body and fits nicely. For anybody who is looking to upgrade their foam and does a lot of out of town riding/commuting and is safety conscious, this is a must have. May 6, 2013
Comfortable, decent price Fits well, molds to the body. Velcro seems durable. Haven't crash tested an that's the real value so nothing o say there. Got a medium, I'm 5'8" with very big shoulders and it seems I might need something a bit larger.. Interested to see how it fits with sz 42 Ballistik leathers. April 29, 2013
Would not do a trackday without it! Awesome back protector that fits into my suit easily. Gets a little warm if you stand around in the pits, but you should be riding anyway. A little bulky and heavy, but feels like serious protection. You don't even notice when you sit on your bike anyway. April 18, 2013

Symbiotic form to the body with L2 protection I was conflicted about which back protector to go with and I really wanted level 2 protection. Forcefield has created a form fitting and very comfortable back protector that really feels symbiotic to the body. I'm 5'11", 160lbs with a 33" inseam and purchased the Medium size. I was very pleased with the fit to my torso and the snug fit really gives you a sense of security, like a swaddled newborn! The only issue I could possibly see with this product is the metal shoulder strap adjuster. If you are unlucky enough to have them adjusted where they ride on the top of your shoulder, it could cause issues during a ride. March 22, 2013
So far so good. I bought this over the winter so I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet but I have tried it on under my jacket. The straps fit well and the pad covers everything it should. This is my first real back protector so I don't have much to compare it to. February 18, 2013

Both protectors are the same price and the only noticeable difference is that the L2K has Kevlar. Do they both have the same kn of transferred energy, which one would you say is more comfortable, and which one ultimately offers more protection? Thanks

Answer: 
The Pro L2 and the Pro Kevlar L2 are functionally the same. The L2K includes Kevlar stitching to increase the unit's overall tensile strength and longevity.

They are exactly the same. I've seen both the protectors as well. From what I've read, they offer the same protection of energy transfer. Only difference is the stitching is made with Kevlar now for the L2K, hence the extra K. The Kevlar stitching makes the back protector even more durable and stronger so it can withstand more of a beating and have longer durability.
