The award winning and best-selling Forcefield Back Protector Pro L2 has evolved into the all new Pro L2K (Kevlar®) and is now constructed using Kevlar® thread for increased strength and durability.
Kevlar® has 5 times the tensile strength of steel along with high cut and abrasion resistance and ensures the strongest back protector available just got stronger!
Combined with NitrexEvo® a unique high-tech triangular shock absorbing material the Forcefield Pro L2K (Kevlar®) back protector is designed to be soft, flexible and comfortable whilst still providing maximum impact protection and conforms to, and exceeds the CE test EN1621-2:2003 Level 2 the highest possible level. NitrexEvo® provides Repeat Performance Technology (RPT) to ensure that even after multiple impacts there is no loss of protective performance and 3D moulds to closely fit the contours of the riders back creating the ultimate in all day comfort.
The Pro L2K is constructed in multiple layers that are stitched and perforated in such a way as to allow partial movement of the inner layers. This movement has a dual purpose, to make the protector more comfortable by allowing it to mould to the body shape and to pump air through the multiple perforations to build up and ventilate between the back when in use.
Fully adjustable shoulder straps and double waist adjustment ensure a correct fit for different body shapes and sizes.

I very much liked the comfort of this item. I have a long torso and it covered from the lower neck all the way down to my lo my upper back.
Very easy to put on and felt like a second skin. it fitted easily under my suit.

This thing is super light thin super thin. once it warms up it molds to the shape of you back nicely.
I'm 6' 160lb. wearing a Medium, the protector itself could be a bit taller, but as the strapping system is already at it's tightest setting, going for a large would mean that the straps would be to long for me.
with all my riding gear I seem to run into this sizing issue, so the problem is probably just me.
that aside, it's a great product and will be wearing it for many years.

This back protector is great! Once you get the size right and then adjust the straps you can’t even tell you are wearing the protector at all. I am female, 5’7” & 135 pounds, have the Men’s Medium which is the same size as the Women’s Large (23.75 inches tip to tip).
As a woman I noticed the waist straps needed to be crossed in front at an angle to fit the taper of my hips. Once positioned properly the protector goes all the way down my back to provide the most protection and stays under the neck of my jacket so there is no interference with my helmet either. Tapering the waist strap to fit my hips is accomplished by adjusting the small side tabs up which angles the waist belt down to give a perfect fit. The placement of the small side tabs up or down is key to getting the waist belt to fit nicely (see my photos). I used the Forcefield Women's Back Protector Pro Kevlar L2 along with the Forcefield Race Lite Chest Protector (size men’s medium) under a zipped together jacket and pants for a track day. One thing to note is if you use pants you will need to buy pants that are four inches larger in the waist to accommodate the back piece. Men’s pants have a much larger waist than women’s so I find these to be best. Also, with the men’s pants the legs will still fit you. Not true if you go up 2 sizes in women’s the legs would be huge then. The waist belt fit nicely under the waist of the pants and stuck out above the waist of my pants by about a half an inch or so (see photo). The chest protector has 2 straps that attach to the back protector’s straps but the jacket keeps the front piece in place too. Once you wear the Forcefield Body Armor for just a few minutes it warms up to your body temperature and actually conforms to the shape of your body like a glove (female parts up front too). It’s vented too so it’s not too hot either. It moves with you and when you hang off you don’t even know you have it on. I highly recommend these products for protection and comfort! Happy Riding!

I currently wear this with my alpinestars jacket as well as my RS Taichi (tailored fit) one piece suit. I haven't gone anywhere without this back protector, school, work or just to a friend's house that's 5 minutes away.
It is extremely comfortable, feels almost like a tempur-pedic mattress on your back. Super easy to put on with a jacket and for my tailored fit one piece suit, it's a bit more tricky/annoying. When i put on the L2 Pro and then slide my suit one, it'll make the back protector ride up a little close to my neck so I would either have to stick in my hand behind my neck and shove it down again or have a buddy jam it back down for me. Could also be because I have a dry-fit under armor shirt than gets all wrinkled up and folds a bit when I put the suit one. I plan on buying the Rev'It undersuit that will be skin tight and hopefully that will solve the problem.
As for airflow, it does get pretty warm still between your back and the L2 Pro, but I have no complaints. I would still say it's excellent compared to other back protectors where your back seems to be on fire sometimes during warm weather. I have worn this in 85*F with my 1-piece suit and felt fine with it.
Overall quality is amazing. I bought two of these, one for my brother and we both love it! I went and bought a Small, but realized too late that it was a tad bit short for me. I'm 5'8", 125lbs (yes I'm quite slim) and the straps were fine but according to the sizing chart I just hit Medium size (measured from my shoulder to my belly button (waist) and I got 18.5" which a M = 18-19.5" while a small is a 16-18" I believe. However, I still love this product and refuse to not wear it when I go out riding. I don't think I'm going to buy any other back protector from now on other than Forcefield! Thanks!

Both protectors are the same price and the only noticeable difference is that the L2K has Kevlar. Do they both have the same kn of transferred energy, which one would you say is more comfortable, and which one ultimately offers more protection? Thanks
