The new Fly Milepost II Boots have many improvements over the original Milepost. The fit makes the boot easier to put on and take off. New flex areas improve mobility, make shifting easier and are more comfortable for all-day use.
Waterproof and breathable for all riding conditions
Comfortable leather construction
E-Z Walk soles
Removable/replaceable comfort insoles
Built-in ankle, shin and toe protection
Shifter wear pad
Reflective safety striping on the rear of the boot
Excellent Value, recomend
Tested in wet conditions and is definitely waterproof. Except when I did a water crossing that was over the boot---LOL. Using my pair riding VStrom Adventure Cycle and they very comfortable. I'm sure more expensive boots are even better if you want to spend the money, My personal riding level I can't justify it. Small light boot feel with no problem finding gear shift or rear brake!

Boots seem to be as good as my previous
I think this is the update to the last pair of Fly boots that I put 55k miles on over 5 years. For me, they worked fine 12 months of the year in Virginia heat, cold, and wet. I was out in 14 degree weather and my feet were not cold. 100 was a bit sweaty, but fine. They were waterproof until the sole started talking at about 4 years :) I liked having a zipper and velcro the entire length. The zipper worked until the last year and then the velcro alone held it suitably after that. I got these boots because they looked like the updated version of my old boot and I've not had them out in the wet yet, but I think they will perform as well as the old ones did.

Good sport/touring boot for the money
The shaft of the boot takes a while to break in and is a bit uncomfortable on the bike until wearing them a few times-- don't order these right before a big trip. Not a lot of cushioning to walk in, but OK comfort. Look good, protect well, and although I haven't worn them in the rain, I believe they will indeed be waterproof.

A little snug, but...
For the first three days, they were the single most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. After they broke in, I really like them. Super warm, and over-the-calf socks are a must. I can't speak to the waterproof-ness, as it *rarely* rains here in north Texas. Hopefully that will change in the not too distant future and I can update my review.
They run just a touch small. Not so much that I don't like them. Would I purchase or recommend to a friend? Absolutely, with no qualms whatsoever.
