Best midrange helmet out there
My brother wears Shoeis and I used to wear a budget Shift helmet, so those are what I can compare this to. It's not quite as comfy as the Shoei but it is just as light and vents just as well IMO. Venting is very, very good. My head stays cool as long as I'm moving, even on very hot days. All of the interior comes out for washing as well. Compared to the Shift this thing might as well be a million bucks, it's a very big step up from a budget level helmet.
I do wish that the chin bar had an emergency breakaway, and I also would have preferred a raw carbon look over the regular matte black, but I can't expect it all for 250$. One other small gripe is that the visor is a bit cheap looking and the hardware is silver instead of black, I wish it matched the color a little better.
Overall you won't get a better deal. I haven't crashed in this helmet but I would say unless you can get a Shoei within 50$ of it, I would go for this lid instead of spending the big bucks on the Shoei. Very good quality for a great price here.

Only worn it for a few hours but this is a superb helmet with Snell and DOT specs. A little tight at the cheeks but noise and buffering isn't bad, and it looks amazing. I ride a 250 dual sport and I've noticed that no matter what goggles I wear, a dirt helmet with goggles limits peripheral vision compared with my Arai street helmet and for this reason I'm mainly still wearing my old Arai on the street. But when I hit trails it will be the Carbon F2 every time. I went with Von Zipper Bushwick XT goggles as my 3rd attempt at balancing price, fit and vision.

Great customer service
I ordered the Fly F2 Carbon in a size large as per the sizing guide. I guess my friends are correct and when they tell me I have a big head because it was too tight to wear for an length of time. I called customer service to exchange for an XL. They could not have been any more helpful! Very easy process and the new helmet was sent out the same day. Documentation was accurate and fast. I would definitely order from revzilla again.

Andrew M:I've found it's a similar if slightly tighter fit then the medium oval of an Arai or AGV. I have all three with my longish ovalish head and the F2 fits a little tight and almost feels like it sits higher on my skull, so maybe it's a little more round. But I think it's still a good fit. It's a larger helmet than the other two.Jan 21, 2015
