Disappointed
For 3 months I loved these boots. I wear them every day to commute to work and back, however today I noticed that on the left instep all the stitching is coming undone and the material is separating from itself.
I'm really dissatisfied with them, since they cost me over $100 which is a lot of money. I now don't trust this brand any more. It's a shame because I did so much research on trying to find the best boots for my commute and now I guess I can't trust the reviews here.

Great Commute and Casual Work Shoe
I wear this shoe for work 3 twelve hour days a week. My commute is 35 miles round trip. It is comfortable on the bike and with all day (walking a lot) wear. I'm an ER doc and wear it with slacks and scrub top and it looks totally appropriate. Protection definitely better than a street shoe but likely less than higher cycling boot (haven't tested that...no plans to do so). The shoe is not advertised to be waterproof so I wear rain cover when needed. Only complaint is lace quality. I had to replace them after 4 weeks due to abrasion from the Velcro flaps. Will buy again. It's a great shoe at a good price.

Great shoe!
This shoe sports a great look, solid durability, and a true to size fit (other than being slightly narrow). Wore these to my MSF course and have been using them on my bike since and have not run into any problems. They feel nice on the bike for shifting and feel like they are quite durable. As for walking around on them, they still feel good. Obviously, there is less cushion in the sole, but that didn't bother me (although, I am on my feet running around 8-12 hours a day for work). Definitely recommend this shoe.

High Quality
The shoe fits and I'm wearing it! You can believe the reviews on this shoe, they really have a high quality feel to them and the sizing is spot on. You'll feel the breeze on the top of your feet when riding but not too much. They do have a stiff feel to them as you would expect but they are very comfortable. Great shoe for the money.

GREAT BOOT FOR STREET RIDING
THESE BOOTS ARE VERY LIGHT WEIGHT YET HAVE TREMENDOUS ANKLE SUPPORT. YOU CAN WALK IN THEM WITH NO ISSUES MAYBEE NOT A THREE MILE HIKE BUT IN AND OUT OF A STORE, BAR, ETC. THE FLAP KEEPS YOUR LACES PROTECTED AND ARE VERY STYLISH. I HAVE HAD THEM ON IN 86 DEGREE WEATHER BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC AND HAD NO HEAT DISCOMFORT, WHILE UNDERWAY THE AIR FLOW VENTS ARE TREMENDOUS!

I wanted something to ride with when not wearing my SiDi boots. Have a nice shifter pad, broke in quick but comfortable outta box! I think I'm reviewing too huh, oh well. I wanted motorcycle specific footwear that I could wear around town like a normal shoe. These work for that very well.

I'm looking for one size wider than normal (double E?). Just wondering if these fit wider or narrower?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I think these shoes run normal to narrow width. They definitely felt narrow until I had walked around in them for a bit.
What is this made of? I would like to take the BRC since I haven't ridden before and it saids I need "Sturdy over-the-ankle boots (not cloth or canvas)" Do you think they will work?
A S on Feb 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi AS,

Sorry for the late reply, hopefully it isn't too late! The boots are a combination of leather and man made materials and will work perfectly for your BRC.

They do fit a little narrow, but I found that once they break in they are very comfortable. They are mainly geared for warm weather riding and breath really well so your feet don't get too hot.

Hope this helps!

Marc
What is the sole height on this shoe? I'm a shorter person (5'3) and I need a shoe that gives me a little bit extra to reach the ground.
Pet Dude on May 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This shoe doesn't have a thick sole like a boot. It's more like double the thickness of a tennis shoe sole, but it won't collapse sideways and it's much stiffer than an athletic shoe. I'm 5'3 too and when I come to a stop in these shoes I usually land on the front half of my foot, then put my entire foot down when I'm fully stopped and can lean my bike slightly. I got these to commute to work in since I'm on my feet most of the day, and when it's scorching hot outside. If you're specifically looking for a thicker sole, go with a boot type shoe. Personally, I have the Icon El Bajo's in tan and love them. I can flat foot my bike in those.

guys. Im looking at this fly racing m21 boots, however you have only full sizes, and Im 9.5 US, or 43 European....what is your recomendation...the 10 or the 9?

regards
hector a on Apr 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They fit pretty true to size so I wouldn't suggest taking the 9 because they will more than likely be to tight on your feet. I wear a 14 or a 15 and I got the 14 and it fits perfectly. I would get the 10 and just wear thicker socks when you ride if you need to. But revzilla has one of the best return and exchange programs out there so if you get one and it doesn't work try the other. They make it really easy.
Hi,
I am wearing European 43,5 boots size. I have failed to find the FLY BOOTS size chart. Could you please advise which FLY boots size corresponds to European 43,5?

Tanks a lot in advance!
A shopper on Sep 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have a euro size 44 and box says it is equivalent to a size 10. I normally wear a size 10 and found they run pretty true to size. They do run a bit narrow, but then again I also have a fairly wide foot. If you have a wide foot (wider than a standard D width) I would probably suggest going up a half size.

Hope this helps!
