Not to bad I reviewed so many air-type shoes and finally went with these. I wear a true size 12 and initially they were tight on the toes, but after a hours - they were good to go. I got the day-glow green - I like it, its probably not everyone's thing, but it's hi-viz for the cagers and in style right now. Air Flow.. hmm, yea, if I tilt my feet down at speed letting air hit the tongue / top of show, then it's alright. So if your on a crotch-rocket, with your feet at perm slant, you'll be ok. My ride is a very upright position, so air doesn't hit it in probably what was it's intended area (top vrs frontal type induction. If anyone was looking for something like Crocs for air flow, these ain't it. I'll still be able to wear these in the winter and be ok. But that's also in part to my ride - which cooks my feet. Still, Im keeping em' - they're cool looking and an easier choice than looking like a Lunar Walker just to go run an errand. October 19, 2015
M21 Hi-Viz Are Good! These Fly M21 Hi-Viz shoes are just right... hoping they last and, with decent air flow, hoping they can be stretched into a three-season shoe. One caution - watch how you tug on the laces in the textile lace loops... not the strongest bond there. September 4, 2015
Just what I was looking for! So my Alpine Star MX2's were getting thin in the sole, and my wife keeps begging me to stop wearing my "frankenstein" shoes to work (she thinks the toe-slider looks pretty silly with jeans)...and I decided to look for a better looking sneaker/boot type of show. I found this one, read and watched great reviews, and figured I'd give them a try. Glad I did. I got the gray/white ones, in size 10 and it was very true to size. I have a fairly thin foot, not quite "narrow" but not meaty either, and I have plenty of room in the boot, yet it feels very secure. There's a steel shank in the sole, some light protection for the toes and heel, and still manages to be comfy to wear as an everyday work shoe and to walk around in. The traction is EXCELLENT. Well, to be fair my A*'s are worn pretty smooth, but these things are great. They're not track or touring boots, but definitely more protection than sneakers or shoes for the daily commute. I highly recommend them. Very well made. A+ August 31, 2015
Good style Good by for the money, not a full blown protection boot, but a good protection shoe. A little discomforting at first over the shift toe , but loosening up, August 17, 2015
They certainly are visible Comfortable enough off the bike and great airflow while on it. The High-Viz really pops. June 5, 2015
Great shoe! This shoe sports a great look, solid durability, and a true to size fit (other than being slightly narrow). Wore these to my MSF course and have been using them on my bike since and have not run into any problems. They feel nice on the bike for shifting and feel like they are quite durable. As for walking around on them, they still feel good. Obviously, there is less cushion in the sole, but that didn't bother me (although, I am on my feet running around 8-12 hours a day for work). Definitely recommend this shoe. May 28, 2015
My first real boots I had been wearing high-top leather basketball shoes for riding. Thought I would try these since price was good. After about two months, a couple of the leather, sewn in, loops for the laces pulled out. I noticed when I was unlacing them that there was some adhesive inside each loop and in some places it was holding the lace. I was wearing some thinner socks and when I pulled on the laces, the glue held and the loop came out. A local repair place was able to sew some leather loops back in place for $15, and two months, so not too bad. Between that and breaking the glue bond on all the joints, no problems since then. They have much better support (no numb feet) and traction (important wrestling a Goldwing around) on concrete/tarmac than high-tops. They are still a boot and I manage to scuff the sides of the footbed leaning into corners, but Goldwings aren't known for room around the foot controls. May 12, 2015

A S asked: What is this made of? I would like to take the BRC since I haven't ridden before and it saids I need "Sturdy over-the-ankle boots (not cloth or canvas)" Do you think they will work? Feb 16, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Marc H: Hi AS,

Sorry for the late reply, hopefully it isn't too late! The boots are a combination of leather and man made materials and will work perfectly for your BRC.

They do fit a little narrow, but I found that once they break in they are very comfortable. They are mainly geared for warm weather riding and breath really well so your feet don't get too hot.

Hope this helps!

ROBERT L: They will absolutely work. They have a very solid footbed and leather (some PU leather) uppers. Very sturdy shoes. I think they are talking about not wearing your Chuck Connors high tops. Feb 16, 2015

Tanisha W: Yes they will work. I wore high top leather sneakers when I took the course and they were acceptable. They are made of leather with steel toes and reinforced heels. You will be fine. Feb 16, 2015

Matthew A: These would work just find for your test. They have strong ankle and sole protection. They are great warm-weather boots, as the ventilation will kick in about 40mph. Feb 17, 2015

Paul L asked: What is the sole height on this shoe? I'm a shorter person (5'3) and I need a shoe that gives me a little bit extra to reach the ground. May 12, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Madelyn G: This shoe doesn't have a thick sole like a boot. It's more like double the thickness of a tennis shoe sole, but it won't collapse sideways and it's much stiffer than an athletic shoe. I'm 5'3 too and when I come to a stop in these shoes I usually land on the front half of my foot, then put my entire foot down when I'm fully stopped and can lean my bike slightly. I got these to commute to work in since I'm on my feet most of the day, and when it's scorching hot outside. If you're specifically looking for a thicker sole, go with a boot type shoe. Personally, I have the Icon El Bajo's in tan and love them. I can flat foot my bike in those.

ROBERT L: Paul, my size 11 is between 7/8 and 1 inch from the inside heel cup to the outside sole. I never get my heels down so that probably isn't much help. At the ball the outsole is about 3/4 thick. On the inside it is probably a bit less. So definitely no 70's era platform shoe. I still stand on the balls of my feet on a Goldwing and I'm 5'6". Phillip T: I don't think it's any different than a typical sneaker, or maybe it's 1/4 - 1/2 inch more than you might expect from a sneaker depending on what you usually wear. However, I would not compare this to a boot. May 12, 2015

hector a asked: guys. Im looking at this fly racing m21 boots, however you have only full sizes, and Im 9.5 US, or 43 European....what is your recomendation...the 10 or the 9?

Apr 1, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tanisha W: They fit pretty true to size so I wouldn't suggest taking the 9 because they will more than likely be to tight on your feet. I wear a 14 or a 15 and I got the 14 and it fits perfectly. I would get the 10 and just wear thicker socks when you ride if you need to. But revzilla has one of the best return and exchange programs out there so if you get one and it doesn't work try the other. They make it really easy. Apr 1, 2015

ROBERT L: I typically wear a 10.5 in running/walking/tennis shoes and bought the size 11.
Fits nicely. They are a bit stiff, but with a good cutout in the back so loosen the laces and foot slides right in.

A shopper asked: Hi,
I am wearing European 43,5 boots size. I have failed to find the FLY BOOTS size chart. Could you please advise which FLY boots size corresponds to European 43,5?

Tanks a lot in advance!
Sep 11, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Marc H: I have a euro size 44 and box says it is equivalent to a size 10. I normally wear a size 10 and found they run pretty true to size. They do run a bit narrow, but then again I also have a fairly wide foot. If you have a wide foot (wider than a standard D width) I would probably suggest going up a half size.

Hope this helps!
