Fantastic Jacket.
If you're even looking at this jacket, give it real consideration.
At this closeout price you really can't beat it. It's VERY comfortable, the stretchtech material really inspires confidence too. I feel much safer with this jacket than without. With that in mind i'd like to mention the armor that comes with it, while it is quite heavy, it doesn't slide around everywhere, and generally stays put, and the backpad this comes with is no slouch either, it seems pretty solid to me.

My one gripe about this jacket is the vent zippers, they are the normal metal kind, but they do seem to pose the same problem that Anthony had in the video, they get caught ALOT. Other than that it's great, the styling is simple and universal, great for all styles.

At this price, these should definitely be sold out by now, i would not hesitate to purchase this again.

Great all weather riding jacket
I bought this jacket at the end of August and used it to commute to work through the beginning of December down to about 38 degrees. In the summer I removed the liner and opened up the vents and I was very comfortable. The jacket has some great air ventilation. As the temperature dropped I was able to add the liner and with a good sweater I never felt cold in my core. Only reason I stopped riding was because of my hands, have not found a good pair to ride in during high speed low temperature stretches. Water protection is great as long as it is not a down pour. It has kept me dry in light showers, but eventually the vents and the non leather areas of the jacket will start feeling wet.

I Highly recommend this jacket, it looks great, the pricepoint is awsome, and it has been really versatile.

Love this Jacket
This jacket feels great and inspires confidence that it would do its job well in a crash. The inner liner is bulky and I took it out right away. I prefer the versatility of having the option to wear a sweatshirt under it instead of committing to the think liner. I will put it back in once the weather in constantly down in the 40s or below again. The jacket could breath a little bit better although the vents do flow a decent amount of air.

Great all weather jacket, love it
I've had it for a year now and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Comfortable. Great features. Sleeve pocket is perfect for my prox scan card to open the gate at work. Liner is quite warm. From 35 to 85 degrees it is comfortable. Looks great too

Very Pleased with this Jacket
Well thought out, fit is exact, very comfortable, I really like the forearm to wrist zippers with snaps. The neck does not chaff when when snapped, nor does the coat leak air/wind when fully zipped up. As needed vents in at shoulders and out through horizontal zipper in back. Jacket moves well in all of the right places, and does not distract due to improper fit. Liner zips out as needed. Overall very good quality, excellent in temperatures from ~37 to 75 degrees as worn so far. Plenty of pockets, and reflective stripping. I ride a cruiser straight up however the jacket will work well for sportbike riders.

A Quick Size Note
I bought this and am extremely happy with the jacket. I haven't actually worn it riding, but it is very comfortable, stylish and has decent protection.

My issue was what size to get. I am about 5' 9.5'', 169Ibs, 38 in chest and 33/34 sleeve. I first ordered the medium and thought the chest was good, but the sleeves were too short. I exchanged thinking the chest on the large would be huge but it was actually perfect. Loose enough with the liner in that I could wear a hoodie under it but not at all baggy like I thought. Without the liner, it might be a bit loose but the large feels like it was made for me. Hope this helps someone who had my same problem (long and lanky..)

Comfortable and keeps you warm.
Absolutely love this jacket. Worn it for at least 2 riding seasons. This is my colder riding jacket and works really really well. no complaints in that area. I have also ridden in the rain and stayed dry.
Not the greatest jacket for riding in the summer time. definitely gets warm even with it unzipped fully and the inner liner out, but its doable. would highly recommend this jacket for colder weather riding or even on rainy days. Only thing I don't like about it is the styling isn't the greatest, but other than that great jacket. price isn't that bad either.

Lots of features
I'm about 5"7 195 pounds so the large was perfect for me. Arm length was perfect as I've seen some people who are taller say they were short. Inside liner keeps you warm below freezing and comes out so you can wear this in warmer weather. Material is conforming to your body so it doesn't seem to construct movement. Lots of pockets and the liner is fairly easy to remove and reattach though it takes a few minutes to do it properly.

Great 3/4 season jacket
This is an awesome jacket. I will edit this later once it gets a bit cooler. But without the liner this jacket keeps me warm/cool from 50 to 80 degrees. It has kept me dry in light to moderate rain. And over all I am very happy with it. I commute daily about 8 miles each way and this jacket is perfect. Note I got a small, I am 5'6 about 160 with a 38 chest. Small is perfect. I can even fit a sweatshirt under the liner.

This is my first jacket and I was nervous of buying shipping it back.
This is my first time buying motorcycle gear. I watched Tony's video and bought the jacket and it is a true fit. It looks good and fits me perfect. I live in NJ and weather is still cold however, I went for a small ride 2 days and jacket kept me warm. Tony seems to have wealth of knowledge of all the products and I bought helmet and it is a true fit as well. From now on I will do all my shopping from Revzilla with out hesitation.

$85 off on a decent jacket

Price, style, multi-seasonality, and I'm tall and skinny, few brands seem to have a good compromise between sleeve and chest, Fly had one of the better. Almost went with the SandS Off the Chain but not waterproof and plastic zippers(?!).

Will this jacket be comfortable in the rain, or would I get soaked?
A shopper on May 6, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Rev'It Airwave is not designed for rain - they're designed for ventilation so it'd be like jumping in a pool.
Has anyone worn this in the summer without the liner? I have a heavy leather for spring/fall, thinking of adding this for the summer and not using the liner. I am in New England.
A shopper on Jan 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I bought this jacket in August and rode it through the hot days up to about 88 and I was comfortable. You will of course get hot when stopped in traffic, but once you are moving, the vents at the shoulders and the large back vent really helped. also if you open up the wrists you can get significant airflow when you are in traffic and not going too fast. would recommend closing them once you get to higher speeds.

Overall I really liked this jacket, its performed really well down through about 38 degrees with a good sweater underneath and the liner in place. If you get caught in a downpour you will get wet, but on small showers I stayed relatively dry as well.
Does anyone have experience wearing this in the summer? I have a heavy leather for early spring/late fall and am thinking of getting this for in between and taking out the liner when it gets hot. I am located in New England.
Adam E on Jan 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is a good in-between jacket and is very comfortable!
Will most brands work with this jacket?
A shopper on May 6, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I'm using my Alpinestars bioarmor back protector in my spidi gara. the pocket in the gara is pretty large, you could fit most protectors in there. for some you might want a bit of velcro to hold it in place.

the shoulder and elbow armor is really nice, fits perfect. the pockets for the armor are very well done, also. much better than my last dainese jacket. they are also great protection, top notch. I wouldn't change them out, personally. A pro racer might feel different, however...
I own this jacket. Is it really worth replacing the back pad if I am just commuting to work?
