Breaths well. Keeps you dry.
I need a pair of pants I could carry in a backpack and didn't take up much room. These pants have a little pouch built in and works wonders. The pants stuffed into the pouch take up almost no room at all.

I got this pair of pants to use on morning commutes when it rains and when its cold outside. Since they are windproof. They keep the wind from making my legs get very cold. I have warn these commuting to work in 32F for about 15 minutes. In speeds up to 50 mph. They are not insulated but for short commutes they keep the wind off my legs. I have also worn them in rain. They have kept me dry. I also have to drive fork lifts and load my own truck in the rain. So when its raining I just keep them on over my jeans all day. I have warn them while working for 10 hours and still ride back home and they keep me dry, and they don't feel uncomfortable. They don't even make my legs hot of sweaty when I am driving to my next stop with my heater on. They breath very well.

I have no trouble getting them over my size 11 steel toed work boots. They have a long zipper on the sided to help with that. I am 6' tall 220. wear a size 38 pants. I found a large fits me well. I do stretch out the waist near maximum when putting them on. And about 3/4 to max while wearing. There is a lot of stretch to them. So I know I could have gone a size up no problem. But I like a tighter waist. I also have short legs for my height. So someone else my height might benefit from a next size up.

Great price for a pair of pants that work well. I have been using them every day for the last couple of months. They still look like new. very durable.

Why did you choose this?
RevZilla Store
Needed rain pants that are light and easy to pack & stow. Already owned FirstGear over-pants & jacket that are waterproof but the over-pants are too bulky. While these will not be protective like the over-pants, they're great for rain and also pretty good at blocking wind.

Are there heat panels in the legs ?
Chuck L on Jun 17, 2015
The sizing chart is in inches but the pants are sold in S, M, L, etc.

Anyone know what waist size the M, L are?

Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Although I cannot provide specific sizing, I have a Med sized pair of these rain pants. I have a 32in waist and a 32in inseam. The pants fit me well. The waist has a good amount of elastic built in and I think they would fit someone with a slightly smaller or larger waist size. The legs are also long enough that they would probably fit someone with a slightly longer inseam.

These are designed as an over-pants (intended to be worn over jeans or mesh gear). The zippers on the lower part of the legs make getting into the pants easy, even when rushed to get ready for an approaching storm.

They seem to be well made and so far have held up well for me.

Hope that helps.
what is the correct size for a 34 inch waist?

do the legs have heat shields ?
Kevin w on Jan 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Please keep in mind.....the pants I have I bought probably 6 or 7 years ago. As a result, the design may have changed. The set I had did not have heat shields. Very functional pants, easy to get on/off, and I still keep them in my saddle bag in the event I get a storm comes through and I need them during my commute.

Hope that helps!
