Good, but color does match exactly My only complaint would be that the color I got (red) doesn't match my red Ninja - the Screw Kit is a little more metallic looking. Other than that, it's done the job quite well so far. July 19, 2014
Easy installation Worth the money, easy installation, and accents the theme to my bike well July 14, 2014
Pikes Peak carbon fiber windshield bolts I bought these for my Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak carbon fiber windshield, 100% perfect fit, best price anywhere, Thanks Revzilla July 3, 2014
Cheap, Clean Looking, Fairly Durable Very pleased overall - SO MUCH CHEAPER than the factory replacement - Honda wanted $70+ for 6 sets of all plastic mounting hardware.. Uh huh. The color options are great and the red matches well against my (2005) 600RR red factory accents. My only complaint is that the rubber sleeve that slides into the mounting points on your windscreen is almost just a tad too small - It fits perfectly snug once in, but you don't have a prayer of getting it back out because the rubber will pinch between the metal threads inside of the sleeve and the windscreen itself. This isn't necessarily the case with the Puig Racing Windscreen, but with my other track windscreen that I change out (And I honestly don't know what make it is) its a fact. However, there are 10 sets included in the kit so I have 4 on one and 6 in the other - Works quite well actually. Plenty of extras otherwise... Overall, great product, good color selection for a little extra flair, and having metal screws + threads is a nice change from the stock plastic bits. Can't go wrong for +/- 10 bucks. May 29, 2014
The screws look great, the well nuts are garbage. The screws are anodized aluminum, and look really sharp. They sit flush, which makes more sense on the windscreen than what came on my bike. You feel a little soft, but you don't really need to torque them down with all your might, so the screws are fine. The well nuts are another story altogether. Super cheap. Instead of crumpling in the middle, like well nuts are made to do, the nut just pulls straight out of the rubber. Even tried pre-bending them to form a crease for it to bend at. After having the nut pull out of different ones, I gave up and ordered some better quality well nuts. May 18, 2014
Waste of money The screws are plastic! Could not even tighten screw before the allen head screw stripped. The nut portion is made well. February 3, 2014
Looks great! These definitely gave my R6 a different look. Glad that a few extras were in the package as well since I screwed up the washer on one. Overall I am very pleased. December 30, 2013

A shopper asked: Will this fit a 2007 ninja 250? What are the specs on the length and width of the bolts? Jun 26, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
David Z: Yes they will fit, but they aren't as secure as I would like them to be. These are different than the original ones the 250 came with. The way they tell you to secure it, the windshield can be easily pulled off from the cowling. The original plastic nut is much sturdier and won't allow you to pull the windshield off because it is installed behind the cowling. I just ended up using these screws not the rubber pieces. I have a 2002 ninja 250. Jun 26, 2014

Michael J: These screws are indeed metal with plastic washers. They seem every bit as high quality as the factory screws. No issues with mine yet. Sep 12, 2013

Joshua C: Thanks for the fast response Sep 12, 2013
Michael J: No problem, glad I could help. I ordered a couple packets to have spares and replace my other fairing screws. I don't work for RevZilla so I'm not trying to get you to buy anything. Just make sure you have a decent set of Allen wrenches as my oem screws required a different Allen then these. These require a smaller diameter Allen. Sep 12, 2013

George R: Josh,

These screws are aluminum that have been powder coated. The nut is brass that has a plastic surround. I bought the red ones and wasn't pleased with the color, it looked more pink than red.

Rodney K: Metal. Side note: when you screw them in the paint in the hex key hole will come of, but it is not big deal.

Darren W: Wasn't on an R1 but I did on my R6 and no modifications were required. R6 was a 2002 model. Just don't get them to tight or it will smash out the little washer that comes with them. Mar 18, 2014
