Looks great, bright!
Looks great on my 75 Honda - replaced the front end with one from a gl1000, and the original headlight looked goofy being so small. The size is great. Light is bright! Much brighter than the original headlight.
A friend did the install, but it looked pretty simple.
Didn't rate the durability as I've only had it for a short time.

Best bang for the buck light there is.
I wanted to ride with this light for a few weeks prior to writing a review. I researched for a new light to replace the light on my SV650/streetfighter for close to a year. The previous light was OK around town, but above 35, was dangerous. Once adjusted correctly, this Emgo really throws light down range - with the stock H4 bulb. To get a better light, you'd have to drop at least $250. This light is a steal.

good headlight, no instalation kit
It's a very good product for the price. It's bright, functional, and pretty good looking.
Only complaint is that it doesn't come with the 10mm screws, nuts, washers, and brackets required for installation. You've got to purchase that seperately.

I'm building a street fighter bike and this really helped me blend the cruiser and sportbike styles together.

A beautiful Headlight assembly, the Emgo Side-Mount Cafe Headlight added an amazing fresh touch to the work, I started on rebuilding my bike. It actually started me on thinking about what, I could swap out in order to make my bike my own, it just looks that good.
Very clean look, has drawn in questions on what brand and where, I bought it and ofcourse, I am very happy to put Revzilla's name out there as the source of my parts supplier and yes, shipping was fast as always.

Can I place a 7" LED insert inside, do I need a ring to do it?
A shopper on Sep 5, 2016
I got this headlight and the brackets as well, what size bolts do I need? No bolts were included with my hardware.
steve n on Nov 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: M10 bolt with a 1.25 thread. I had to go with zinc, as stainless is hard to find.
How many wires come with the headlight and what is the wiring diagram?
A C on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As stated, three wires - blue is hi beam, white is low, green is ground. i had to splice the H4 harness into my existing system.
Does this light come with brackets for mounting? Or do I need to buy those separately?
A shopper on Sep 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: brackets are separate because you will need to find specific size of brackets to fit your bike fork
Is this bucket exactly 7"? Would I be able to put a 7" headlight in it, or would it need to be a smaller size light?
Manny C on Oct 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is an entire headlight assembly - reflector, bulb, everything. No need to fit a light into it.
How many wires come with this headlight, what is the wiring diagram?
A shopper on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Comes with an H4 socket, three wires.
How is the lens mounted on the inside? I have a headlight that rattles because the lens is held by flimsy metal clips, lens vibrates against a trim ring at 4000rpm. Is this one different? Also can I fit 7"harley style projector headlamp in this shell?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Well the lens is held on more or less the same to as you say, thinner metal bits holding it onto the trim ring, but from my experience it doesn't seem to rattle at all. I couldn't really tell you about the Harley lamp though.
Is this a sealed beam or can I replace the H4 bulb, looking to get something I can run an led light in?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Not a sealed beam. You can change the bulb. In the glass is detachable and a p.i.t.a to put back together if you don't know how.
Hey I've got a Suzuki GS500f that I want to strip down and convert to a streetfighter. will this light and the bracket be a good fit for my bike? or is there a better product that I missed.
A shopper on Aug 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have an old ZRX that I stripped down, well the cars that kept backing into it stripped it down and it is now a naked bike. I purchased this headlight and it fit very well for me with the existing brackets. You can also go to a hardware store and make a bracket pretty easily if your existing bracket does not fit well. The light comes with a bulb and the wire to connect it to your existing headlight wires. You will need to splice and connect the wires but it is fairly simple. I think for the price and the quality of the light, this could be a great option for you.
