Dynojet Power Commander V Ignition Module

The Power Commander V Ignition Module is an add-on module for your PCV that allows you to control and adjust your ignition timing by +/-20 degrees. Adjusting your ignition timing is critical when you have modified your engine to run a higher compression ratio, boost, nitrous or higher octane/race fuel. For example, if you’ve dramatically increased the air and fuel in a cylinder, a delayed ignition would be required due to the faster burn of the mix.

In addition to ignition tuning, the PCV Ignition Module features a launch limiter, otherwise known as launch control. This feature is a necessity for any club racer or pro, as many races are decided by who gets off the line the quickest. And for when you need to slow down, the Ignition Module also features a pit lane limiter mode.

Features:

  • Allows +/-20 degrees of timing adjustment
  • Launch control (requires additional switch sold separately)
  • Pit lane limiter (requires additional switch sold separately)
  • OEM style connectors
  • Raise your RPM limit (available on select models)
  • Adjust timing based on temperature or boost inputs
  • Individual cylinder timing
  • Gear position timing

The ignition module together with PVC makes the torq curve almoust flat (no big jump around 6k rpm) and power curve is almoust strait up until 8k rpm.
The only negative side is, it should be included to PVC.
Highly recommed

what is an ignition module and why would I want to add it to my power commander 5?
A shopper on Mar 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ignition module will change the ignition advance +/- degrees. With the PCV + IM you are able to get even better result to your torque curve and to have more power at the top end.
Is the ignition module bike specific or can I use one on any bike?
