The Dynojet Power Commander V is a vital first step into the world of motorcycle fuel tuning. The ability to adjust your motorcycle’s fuel map is vital if you have added a high-flow air filter, aftermarket exhaust system or smog block-off plates. All of these modifications will, in some way, alter the air/fuel ratio in your engine. The Dynojet PCV, with its microprocessors and PCV Software, allows you to adjust your motorcycle’s fuel map up to +250%/-100% to ensure an optimal setting. Dynojet offers a large database of free, downloadable maps for many combinations of motorcycles and aftermarket parts.

If an available map does not suit your specific needs, a custom map can be built from the ground up with the aid of a Dyno. Furthermore, a fuel map can be customized on a per gear, per RPM and per throttle position basis. Both street and track riders will benefit from from the PCV. For example, a daily commuter may find it beneficial to have a low end torque map while the club racer would benefit from a smooth and peak power map.

Works great with full exhaust First the bad, on the ninja 300 ABS this is a pain to install. The ABS control is directly above the fuel injectors, which makes changing the plugs an exercise in creativity and patience. It can absolutely be done, but you'll have to deal with an incredibly small space and a lack of good angles. After the fuel injectors it's as easy to install as otherwise said. Downloading and switching to a new map is simple. I won't say it's a huge difference for an engine as small as a 300, but there's enough to notice. Still, it doesn't change that the 300 is a 'slow bike'. If you're already bored of the 300's power, this isn't going to be a critical difference. If you're just looking for a little more, the PCV might be for you. I also installed an R77 full exhaust before the power commander. January 28, 2016
It works but... I do like the ease of installation of the power commander. This does increase power quiet a bit. Side effects: This will lower fuel economy quiet a bit. My Ninja 300 usually gets around 57-60mpg and it dropped to about 44.5mpg. Just set to zero map for commuting. Will be installing some upgrade eventually in particular a quick shift addon to the power commander. July 20, 2015
Good item, easy to install and use It was straight forward to install and use this on my '14 Ninja 300. One thing that would have been nice is to have the temperature calibration tables prepopulated since the bike doesn't have a temperature indicator on the instrument panel. July 12, 2015
Big performance gains! Installed the Power Commander V on my Ninja 300 in conjunction with a Yoshimura full exhaust system, the difference in acceleration is fa-nominal mid-top end. The only gripe i have is that the wiring harness that came on the PCV was about 9 inches to short...so i had to mount the unit way down in the lower part of my tail end. Overall very happy with the install, the directions were spot on for my bike, and the performance difference is very noticeable. Very pleased! September 2, 2014
revzilla is amazing I haven't installed it yet, so my review of the product itself will have to wait, but I felt the need to give revzilla props for amazing customer service. They quickly answered all my questions, and my package was delivered LESS THAN 24 hours after I placed the order. I heard they had fast shipping, but I've never received a package so quickly even when spending extra $ on more expensive shipping methods. These people must be wizards or something. AWESOME! Ok, install was a little bit of a pain. Tells you to remove the fuel tank but I just loosened it up and was able to work around it. I have long fingers so it was ok, but if you don't, then remove the tank. When mounting the unit under the rear seat, it tells you to mount it on the bottom, but with the channels for the tools and such, you can't really get a good spot to mount it. Instead I flipped it over and mounted it under the lid that covers the tool channels. Another item to note, is that the crank case connector that is covered by a rubber boot. The boot cannot really be used over the new connections. Installed this with a Yoshi R77 full exhaust and a K & N air filter. Put the map for that specific set up and this thing MOVES!!! Really recommend this for any type of aftermarket exhaust you put on to really bring the 300 out to play April 17, 2014
