Dynojet Power Commander V
- Reduced size from PCIII USB - less than half of the size of Power Commander III
- USB powered from computer, 9 volt adapter is no longer needed for programming
- "Warm Up" fuel adjustment reads engine temp and allows fuel/timing adustments based on the reading
- For use on 2009 and up applications
- 2 position map switching function built in (map switch not included)
- Gear/Speed input allows for map adjustment based on gear and speed
- Analog input allows user to install any 0-5 volt sensor and build an adjustment table based on its input such as boost or temperature
- With gear position input connected the PCV is capable of allowing each cylinder to be mapped individually and for each gear - for example: on a 4 cylinder bike with a six speed transmission there could be up to 24 separate fuel tables
- Unit has a -100/+250% fuel change range (up from -100/+100%), this allows more adjustment range for 8 injector sportbikes
- 10 throttle position columns (up from 9 on PCIII USB)
- Enhanced “accel pump” utility for increased adjustment and sensitivity ranges
- Made in the USA

I have installed the Power Commander V after putting on an aftermarket high flow air filter system and drilling the baffles out on the stock exhaust. Was worth it, although I did not put it on a dyno yet, I do get more responsiveness. It came with pre-programmed fuel map and it works flawlessly. Installation was a bit challenging just due to the bike's design and routing the cable avoiding hot spots. My bike looked like something out of a transformer movie during installation, but you do have to get through some tight spots, so the more space you have to maneuver, the easier it will be. You will also most likely have to cut the insulation mesh a bit back just to get a bit more wire from the harness. You will see what I mean once you do the installation and realize that you can't quite reach the connector on the other side. That is without taking the air box off. Try to do it without dismantling it.
Overall great product, small fits great looks great, works just great. Get it it's worth it, if anything a piece of mind your engine will work properly.

easy install and great performance potential
i found this product very easy to install with good instructions. i downloaded the map from the dynojet site which gave me a good start but wasnt good enough. the map was only for a stock air filter with full akra evo system. i needed a better map due to an aftermarket airfilter i have. overall the product is great, but tuning on a dyno is a must,to get the perfect map for your bike and the conditions you ride in

Good Upgrade to anybike Performance
I am a fan of PC and had it in my last 3 bikes (all "racing" bikes).
It helps making the bike smoother, with a better air & gas mixture and no "holes" in the engine & gear relation.
Its very good if you want to use your bike for track days or so, once you can change the configuration very easily and adapt it to what you want to get. I like and recommend it.

Great product
I bought this for my '09 VFR800 to smooth out some of the jerkiness at low speeds. While it hasn't completely eliminated it, it has definitely improved it. I already have a K&N filter and once I fit some aftermarket pipes I'll get a custom tune to further smooth things out.
For those that are curious, the kit comes with 2x O2 eliminators.
Delivery to Australia took only a few days and the price through Revzilla was over $100 cheaper than any dealer here could offer me. Great job guys.

Installed on my 2011 BMW SK1 wow made a big difference in throttle control smooth power delivery. With out it the bike was kind of wicked. I know have a smooth power band love it.

Power Commander V for Thruxton
WHat a difference, WOW, I did find it was running rich with the standard map, I had free flowing exhaust, K&N.s, removed the AI and O2 sensors, so you do need to Dyno it, and then it was so smooth through the rev range, very very pleased :)

Akrapovic engineers their slip-on mufflers and full exhaust systems to operate properly with stock fuel maps. Using a PCV with a slip-on system is not necessary but is likely to still improve overall performance.4 months ago

Nope. Even if you were to eliminate the catalytic convertor you still don't need it. You would only need it if you had a full exhaust system. Ask any mechanic. I'm sure the majority of them will tell you the same.Age: 25-34

Mapping is in reference to fuel maps. It come preprogrammed with the correct map. However the unit does allow for the map to be modified if you want to change it. We do not recommend making changes unless done by a professional tuner on a Dyno. Maps downloaded from forums or unreliable sources can have catastrophic consequences if you do not know what you are doing.7 months ago

The Dyno Jet Power Commander does not come with the Auto Tune Kit. The Auto Tune Kit is an additional option that you add to your bike to make it a closed loop system, which will monitor your exhaust and constantly make adjustments to your fueling.
