Must have Must have if you add new air filter and exhaust keeps things running smoothly if not much better. Like the smaller design, and computer hook up compared to the PC3. Install can be a pain if your not a good wrench. July 5, 2014
PCV Wow, small size but made a big difference on my bmw s1000rr. I put a akra full exhaust shorty and it did not run very good, so I bought this and got it installed. Now my bike is loud, more power every rpm specially at the lower rpm. Could not ask for more. Buy it, you will love it!!! July 15, 2013
The Beemer is a rocket ... I have just had Powerhouse Dyno Tuning at Nerang Qld. here in Australia install the Power Commander V and create a map for my 2010 S1000RR. It is coupled with a BMC air filter and the full Yoshi R-77 Ti Carbon exhaust system also purchased from Revzilla. The end result is 197.83HP at the rear wheel; of cause the numbers can vary from dyno to dyno but the bike and Yoshi system is running much smoother now. You would think it would be hard to improve on the RR standard setup ... but it has. The product as well as the technical advice from the guys here at Revzilla has been excellent ... thanks guys. easy install and great performance potential i found this product very easy to install with good instructions. i downloaded the map from the dynojet site which gave me a good start but wasnt good enough. the map was only for a stock air filter with full akra evo system. i needed a better map due to an aftermarket airfilter i have. overall the product is great, but tuning on a dyno is a must,to get the perfect map for your bike and the conditions you ride in January 7, 2013
PC5 Installed on my 2011 BMW SK1 wow made a big difference in throttle control smooth power delivery. With out it the bike was kind of wicked. I know have a smooth power band love it. August 21, 2012

Jason B asked: Ride mode question. How will the PCV and mapping interact with the ride modes on my BMW (rain, sport, race, slick)? aren't these stock riding modes maps already programmed onto the ECU by the factory? will I still have use of the factory modes? Oct 18, 2014

Waleed N: The Power Commander only controls the fueling, it has no affect on the various riding modes, as the riding modes affect, traction, abs, and throttle sensitivity. Rain mode will remain as a de-tuned mode. So in summary, other then your new fuel mapping, nothing else will change.

Before purchasing, you may want to locate a quality tune for the bike.
