Dynojet Power Commander V

The Dynojet Power Commander V is a vital first step into the world of motorcycle fuel tuning. The ability to adjust your motorcycle’s fuel map is vital if you have added a high-flow air filter, aftermarket exhaust system or smog block-off plates. All of these modifications will, in some way, alter the air/fuel ratio in your engine. The Dynojet PCV, with its microprocessors and PCV Software, allows you to adjust your motorcycle’s fuel map up to +250%/-100% to ensure an optimal setting. Dynojet offers a large database of free, downloadable maps for many combinations of motorcycles and aftermarket parts.

If an available map does not suit your specific needs, a custom map can be built from the ground up with the aid of a Dyno. Furthermore, a fuel map can be customized on a per gear, per RPM and per throttle position basis. Both street and track riders will benefit from from the PCV. For example, a daily commuter may find it beneficial to have a low end torque map while the club racer would benefit from a smooth and peak power map.

The Dynojet Power Commander is the most well known fuel controller on the market, thanks to its capabilities and versatility. Take a look around the paddock at a track day, club racing event or AMA event, you will see the Power Commander V dominating the field.

Excellent. Nice change to the bike.
I just put the PCV along with a DNA high flow air filter on my CBR650F. The bike runs smoother, has a little more throat coming out the stock pipes, and pulls noticeably harder.
It's setup with just the stock filter/exhaust map right now, and it runs fantastic. Later this summer I'm getting a Akrapovic exhaust, and a custom dyno tune, but for now I'm very happy with the PCV and filter combo.

I noticed on your drop down menu a discrepancy when selecting a manufacture date for the GSX 650F. I own a 2008 European model and I am looking to purchase the Power Commander V for it, but the only man. date I can select is 2009 and up. Will the unit fit on a 2008 model? Far as I can see from the instruction manual between the two there is no difference, I may be wrong. Should I go ahead with the purchase? Thank you.

BEST ANSWER: I am going to answer my own question this time. I asked the Dynojet team and the answer I got is the following:
You can either use PC3usb (PN: 340-411) or you can use the PC5 (PN: 20-012) on any 2008-2009 GSX650F.

Hope this helps any of you wondering.
Ride safe.

Hi, I got a 2011 796 monster abs that i bought used. The bike already had termi slip ons and the ducati performance ecu. So i just wanted to know if i would benefit more, like adjustability, performance etc. having a power commander instead of the dp ecu?
