Nice Bag, but has some issues Plus, Hard liner makes more efficient than soft roll bag given the more square shape. Only two end straps to secure the opening vs two plus two on soft bags. Likely better for stacking if you do that kind of stuff- I just want something to put on my pillion seat to carry camping gear, etc (along with my 3 aluminum boxes. (F800GSA) Negatives: Pinched opening makes loading, unloading, and finding stuff noticeably more of a pain. Kind of get used to it. Hard edges make materially more subject to damage. Mine dropped off the bike at crawling speed and two edges rubbed open given the hard corners. A soft bag likely would have been ok. If I can't glue it, a big loss of $ in a short amount of time. Manufacture's website says contact Twisted Throttle for support.... June 28, 2016
Great looking bag!! I needed a little more storage on my 2016 BMW 1200GS Adv. to store some extra clothes while touring to Arizona to California. It seems to be a great bag but the reason I gave it a 4 on "Bang for the buck" is the strapping system seems a little vague(instructions are very limited on views) and it comes with 5 straps that are..One to hold it in the back(None are quick release buckle type) and 4 just general tie down types..Just seem kind of odd to me. I will take it for many rides and see how it fares..but so far it looks like it will fit my purpose for extra layers for my ride! May 26, 2016
Rigid construction can be a plus or a problem depending on where and how you mount it Great waterproof bag. Rigid construction can be a plus or a problem depending on where and how you mount it. Finish is a little ruff but durable so far. Biggest problem is the opening is very small and loading to capacity is harder than it needs to be. April 27, 2016
Great Gift I bought this gift for the motorcycle lover in my life!! He loves it, and was thrilled to receive it. Its held up in various weather conditions over the past few months. April 6, 2016
Decent bag for the money. After looking at numerous options in waterproof bags, I decided to try the Dry Spec D38 because of the semi-rigid sides and the ability to expand and add more bags in the future. As always, my bag was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect shape. Although I haven't yet had an opportunity to use it in heavy rains, I am confident it will perform well. November 9, 2015
Easy Bag to use Thought would be of thicker construction. Straps are a bit weak and worried end fasteners may not last long. Water tightness seems good, easy to close up and open. Would like to see a more rugged strapping system. September 30, 2015
Quality bag/Great customer care I chose Revzilla based upon the care they gave me researching this bag.The bag is as described and with exception of long term durability yet to be tested I'm very happy. June 25, 2015
Great sturdy bag with easy attachment The difference between this bag and the competitors is that this bag has a rigid lining which makes it very sturdy on the bike. You don't have to pack it full of gear for it to sit solid on the bike. The attachments straps make it very easy for on and off. June 22, 2015
