Had to grind down the rubber.
I got these knowing that they "don't work with threaded bars" but i decided to get them anyway, and I'm glad i did, all i had to do was grind the rubber down (i just used my driveway) and slip them in, the threads in my bars actually seem to help hold them in even more.

Great looking and very easy to install.
The only thing I had to do was place star washers under the lock nut to keep it from coming loose.

Doesn't reduce vibration, but looks great
I bought these in the hopes that they would help reduce some vibration and because someone stole one of the stock bar ends. (Who steals bar ends?) They were advertised as "weighted" and although they do have some nice heft, they do not reduce handlebar vibrations on my K6 GSXR 600.

I gave a 4 on the ease of install because there was a lack of instruction on how to properly install. I might sound like a fool, but I couldn't figure it out until I did some trial and error.

On the GSXR's anyway, you have to tighten the back nut to where the rubber expands to the point where you kind of have to shove it into the handlebar with a little force. Then you turn clockwise with your hand once its in the handlebar until its tight.

The packaging was fantastic and felt expensive and as always RevZilla had the best service (arrived in two days).

For the price, they look great and offer better vibration cancellation than nothing, but not enough to brag to your friends about.

2013 ZX10R
These are a universal part so fit was an issue. The rubber was to thick initially to shove these into the bar. Fortunately I have a dremel and I just ground some of the rubber away until they slid into the bars. Then it's just as simple as turning them clockwise till they become tight. They are much smaller looking than the stock bar ends but look pretty good. Hopefully they don't fade over time.

Not for CBRs
Bought these with Pro Grip 719s to replace my old plastic ones. Upon trying to install them I noticed that they need an additional piece to fit on the CBRs. Also, when using with the Pro Grips, the throttle side got hung up on the ends when returning to normal position.

Wish they were beefy-er
Looks great but a little worried on how they would perform in the case of an accident.

How do I install these bars ends? My stock bar ends had a vizable mounting bolt but these do not.
Thank You
A shopper on Aug 8, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Well, I got them for my 07 cbr 600rr, and I just unscrewed the stock bar weights, removed the rubber plugs for the driven bar ends, and then just screwed em in place.

I've read that's not necessarily the "proper" way, but im not facing any issues..

Hope that helps
I tried turning the bar end left to remove, but the bar end itself came off and not the screw. The screw is stuck, are these countersunk? How do I remove the screw, put the bar end back on and continue twisting right to remove?
William P on Apr 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It would scratch them all up really bad! Also, are they opposite screws as in left is tighten on them to the bar end? Because the bar end itself came off in the proper direction. But the bolt remained. I did not install these.
My handlebars are hollow. There isn't a nut to screw into. Will these work?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes. There is a nut on the opposite end of the weight. You tighten it just enough to shove it in your hollow handle bar and then hand twist until it's tight. Very very easy.
does it work on the yamaha fz07 15' year model?

I am using a 2015 BMW F700 GS, and installed original brake lever protectors. Can I use these parts replacing the original accessories?
Fatih A on Apr 9, 2015
I tried removing the bar end today, and it came off the screw that is still attached to my handlebar. Are these countersunk, do I have to screw the bar end back on and twist right to remove it completely?
