Looks cool!! Works fine!!!
The mounts seem to work ok! Do what they are supposed to do. Not sure how they will work if I choose to extend my windshield with spacers. But so far, so good.

Quality product
Solid mount that should hold up to intended use. Package came with all parts. Easy to install and fit as expected. Denali lights fit on the mount perfectly. I like that the mount fits on the fender so that the lights turn with the front wheel.

well made
this thing is nice, it's heavy, sturdy. i wish the rest of the KLR was built this well, when i ordered it, i was thinking it was a little overpriced, but it's worth every penny.

Overall good
Great fit and did what it was supposed to do. Looked great on bike. Only negative was trying to install: the spacers were a pain, had to glue them so they wouldn't fall when screwing.

Great Product, Fast Shippinh
I had it mounted in 20minutes. Lights and switch wired in about two hours. It's a perfect light mount or the KLR650. Strong solid platform for most auxiliary lighting. I'm using LEDs w/1800lumens each light. Super bright set up!

Solid means heavy
This thing is great. I have a couple of big lights on there and they work really well. The thing solid too, I have been beating on it off road and the only time either light budged was when I was pushing through a 1/4 mile of really dense shrubs and some snagged on the lights but that's some pretty rotten treatment.

The only downside I guess is that it is heavy enough on the forks to be noticeable when you're cornering on freeways.. It makes me want to think about getting a fork brace honestly. Slight speed wobble too but way better than when I had the lights mounted up high on those denali light mounts that go by the windscreen.

A little pricey for what you get.
Just as stated in the title. They are heavy but seem to be very durable, and pricey for just a bracket and some fasteners. Just have to see if they hold up out on the trails.I'll definitely be putting them to work in the months and years to come.

Does what it is designed to do...
a real pain to get the spacers between the mount and the fender then attached to the bike. I ended up using a stock bolt for one of the holes in the fender to put it into place, then used the new bolts and spacers on the other 3 holes to attach the bracket. 450 miles later and it still seems to be ok....

I didn't want to fabricate a light mount myself and these are designed for the bike that I am installing the lights on.
KLRfan on Oct 29, 2015
This appears to be the best auxilary lighting braket that i have found for the 2013 KLR. I like the placement of the lights and because they are mounted to the front fender, they will move with the direction of the front tire. Also the reviews seem to be positive which I appreciate.
Michael D on Oct 19, 2015
Prefer the way the mounting is fitted and looks like lights may be more protected.
Dave H on Aug 16, 2015
Cuz it's exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly with my Rigid lights. The thing is built like an Abrams tank. Awesome!

I would like to consider this mount for maybe a 6 or 10 inch light bar which can certainly be purchased for less money than these very expensive lights. The reviews I have read claim they are worth every penny yet people don't realize the light output and performance can be realized for much less. Anyway can someone measure the spread of the entire mount from beginning measurement all the way to the end measurement in terms of the horizontal adjustment. Thanks?

How much does this mounting bracket weigh?
christopher a on Aug 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not know the exact weight but it is very well built and heavy for its size. If you are looking for a well built piece then this is it. However, if you are looking to conserve weight this may not be the way to go.
This mount fit the 2016 Klr?
A shopper on May 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a 2013 KLR and if there has been no change to the front fender it should work.
Will these mounts fit the Denali d4 lights? I like the d4's but if they are too big I could also get the dx super spots as well.
A shopper on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Without question the mount is very sturdy. The mounting hole is 3/8" wide and about 5/8" long. Provided that way so you can adjust the mount point in or out from the fender. If mounting your lights on top - From the outside of the mounting hole to the fender is about 1-3/4". If hanging your light from below then you have 3-1/4" clear to the tire. My lights mounting bolts were 3/16 diameter so I filled the pre drilled hole in the bracket with epoxy and drilled the size hole I needed. Lights are very steady. No decernable erratic vibrations.
