Amazing first jacket! This is my first motorcycle jacket, so I'm probably biased, but this jacket is amazing! It's lightweight, looks amazing, and comes with nice elbow and shoulder protection that doesn't slip. I wore this jacket during my riding course, so i didn't get the full air flow feel, but i definitely felt each breeze that blew through. The chest vents zip up, and theres a slot in the back for a back shield. It was hot, but I didn't sweat too badly in this jacket, which will be great for safe summer riding. I also got rained on, but the non-mesh parts repelled rain like nothing i've ever seen. The mesh parts did a better job at repelling the water than you'd expect, and its double-layered, so i stayed pretty dry. I'd probably just keep a long sleeved shirt in my backpack to put on underneath the jacket in the summer. April 29, 2015
Great Great fit and comfortable. It is lacking in the feature department though; some inside pockets would have been nice. April 13, 2015
Summer jacket This is a great hot weather jacket. It's super lightweight and will be perfect for hot summer days. I'm 5'1" and 110lbs with an athletic build (wide shoulders and back). On the advice of Rania M. from Revzilla costumer service, I ordered a size 40. Based on the measurement chart I was ready to order a 42 or 44, but the size 40 fits perfectly! I could fit a warm layer under it if I needed to. I really like this Dainese jacket because it is cut well for a woman and keeps a slim profile. I like the black color as opposed to something pink. It has good elbow and forearm pads, as well as small shoulder pads. The material itself seems somewhat thin compared to other motorcycle jackets, but I still think it will protect my skin in a crash. I have not worn it while riding yet, but the collar may come into contact with your helmet if you have a short neck! I prefer no collar on jackets for that reason. However, I really do like this jacket as a summer alternative and would recommend it! March 17, 2015
Comfortable and versatile. This is my first motorcycle jacket - have to say it fits me well. Really nice to ride in - fantastic air flow. February 10, 2015
Dainese Obsessed I have always loved Dainese's brand and this was my first purchase. On other reviews people always said to buy size or two bigger. I must say that I'm happy I listened to my gut and did not buy a bigger size. I'm always afraid of ordering gear online because despite the fact that I'm petite, I'm top heavy (meaning my breasts are very large). I ordered a size 40 and it fits perfectly but I have just enough space to add in a back protector, since it does not come with one, and I really think anyone riding with this jacket should buy one. I only wish the jacket had inside pockets but it's such a beautiful and comfortable jacket that it compensates in other ways. I'm 125lbs, 5'3, and a 34DD and the jacket fits perfectly. You never want a motorcycle jacket to fit loosely because God forbid you have a crash, you want the jacket to stay in pace and not ride up, exposing your skin to the ground. I hope you find this helpful :) Ride safe everyone!! February 6, 2015
Perfect fit! I am 5'5" 115 lbs and purchased a size 40. The jacket fits perfectly and is quite comfortable and stylish. I am, however, not a fan of the velcro at the neck. I find it restrictive but I just tuck it in at the side to overcome that and it's fine. Also, there are no inside pockets which would have been nice to have. These are the reasons I gave an average rating for the features. Overall though, I am pleased with this purchase. January 19, 2015
Perfect mesh jacket for SoCal riders! This jacket is amazing for summer weather riding in Los Angeles!!! The air flow is great and there is no liner or inner layer so the air goes straight through. Good protection on shoulder/elbows but does not come with a back protector. Also no inner pocket - which isn't too big of a deal. The outside pockets are large enough for your phone/wallet. As previous reviewers mentioned - I hate Velcro! It gets stuck to your helmet strap, or anything else for that matter. I tuck the Velcro strip near my neck inside so it doesn't get caught on stuff. I am about 103lbs , 5' 3" - size 38 was perfect. 40 would've been a little loose around the chest area. Best thing was that I got it on sale so the killer deal made it a no-brainer :) December 15, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Emily W: Lightweight and cool protection for hot weather riding. Dec 14, 2014
S U: It's for my girl. She'll look sexy in it. Dec 1, 2014
Sera W: Ive been looking for a summer jacket for my commute to work - in Melbourne its gets super hot ! Fingers crossed Ive chosen the right size :) Nov 19, 2014
Zach S: Originally I ordered the new Icon Overlord Mesh Women's jacket for my girlfriend in size xs. She is 5'4", 100lbs, broader shoulders, narrow waist (25"). The body fit well, but the arms were very baggy and the D3O armor did not sit well on her body. I own two men's dainese jackets including the Air-Flux and know they fit slender people well. Add in the fact that it was on sale so that we could add a back protector and still have a great, affordable jacket. Only downside is has no liner. Sep 18, 2014
Elvia E O: To be honest, I chose it because it looked great in the video, had a good review, was in size 38, and was supposed to have great air flow. (SUPER happy with it) Jul 28, 2014
William N: I ordered the Mens version of this jacket and could not be happier with is fit, finish and performance. So very comfortable, shoulder and elbow/forearm armor is a step up from the factory stuff in my first gear seasonal jacket. So when it came time to buy my passenger a jacket she wanted what I had. It bad stock wasn't available in any other color in the size 50 or 52. Jun 27, 2014
Manouel T: Looking for a jacket for my fiance that has the necessary protection plus is not bulky on her during the late spring, summer, and early fall here in Atlanta. Sep 13, 2013
Emily H asked: What are the other colors this comes in? I know there are three colors listed but I can't seem to find pictures of the actual jacket in those colors. Feb 16, 2014

Jim B: At the time I got mine in summer 2013, women's came in black, light grey and dark grey. My boyfriend got one in blue and dark grey combo. I'm not sure but that must have been only in men's.

I got the light grey option, figuring it would the color that would absorb less heat.
I am totally happy with it.

You didn't ask but since finding the right size was an issue for me, I will go ahead and share that I ended up settling on a 42. For reference, I mostly wear small in tops, I am 5'9" and and I have long arms and a long torso. The 42 is just fine in the sleeves and shoulders, and pretty close in the torso length, though in a perfect world, I would still like a bit more length.

Hope that helps!

A shopper asked: Is it possible to swap in my armour pieces from other dainese jackets? (As in, are there the Velcro strips and mesh pockets to fit them in?) Jun 4, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ursula W: Yes, there are Velcro strips on the insides of the shoulders and forearms, and there's an opening to add your own back armor. I'm currently using the armor that came with it, along with an Alpinestars hard back protector. Jun 6, 2014

Chris K: Shoulder and Elbow protection are included, however, the back protector that comes with the jacket is only temperfoam. The pocket is made for upgrade to a Wave G1 Back Protector. Aug 1, 2011

A shopper asked: I'm wondering if anyone with broad shoulders and back has tried this jacket. I'm 5'3" and 115lbs, but my chest measurement is 35", that's a jacket size of 46 for this brand. I have very square and broad shoulders with a broad back to go with it. I'm afraid the sleeves, and therefore the elbow pads, will be too long and not matching up to my elbows. I also think it will be roomy in the waist too, but that's my life with any jackets. I always have to fit my shoulders first. I don't know why companies selling ANY kind of jacket or coat doesn't use shoulder measurements as part of their fitting guide, makes now sense. I just want a jacket that will allow me to actually lift my arms and move around, while looking very feminine. Anyone out there with the same challenge? Thanks for any answers. Sep 4, 2014

Ursula W: I'm 4'11.75", and I bounce between 105 and 110 Lbs. My chest is also 35", but my shoulders are not broad. I wear the smallest size offered, a 38. There seems to be extra room in the shoulders, but only because they allow for the pads inside. There aren't many motorcycle jackets designed to lift your arms past the riding position, but if this jacket is unzipped, I have complete freedom to move my arms in all positions. If I wear it zipped, my arm movement is much more limited, but I tend to keep both hands down on my grips 99% of the time, unless my signals fail and I need to use hand signals. If you're an actual rider, this jacket seems to be as accommodating of movement as one can get. If you're a passenger, I'd suggest going up a size, as your arm movement isn't tethered to controlling the bike. I suppose you could remove the shoulder armor and have more space, too, although that's not very safe. The cut of this is slim around the waist and stomach, therefore feminine. Dainese runs very small, as does Alpinestars. Since you're almost 4" taller than I, I'd suggest a size 40, as size 38 has an almost perfect arm length for me. Sep 19, 2014
