Black clouds are gathering before the storm; the snowdrifts at the roadside testify to the low temperature. It won’t be long till we’re there, but you’d even be ready to leave again in your Tundra jacket that keeps you from feeling all the miles passing beneath your wheels. Designed for winter use, the Tundra boasts a GORE-TEX® membrane laminated to the outer fabric to ensure low weight and quick drying, while reducing the wind-chill effect and the loss of body heat. Comfort is also increased by low weight and freedom of movement that keep muscles fresh even on the longest haul. Exceptional ergonomics are achieved by inserts in elasticated fabric and ample possibilities for adjustment.

Invulnerable for cold weather riding! I have had mine for about 2 months now and I am very impressed. To note: it does take 2 weeks minimum as it comes from Italy so take that into consideration when purchasing. I went with Tundra over the Talos as is a dedicated winter coat for Minnesota weather and I wanted the baked in Gore-Tex for beading in the rain/snow. So many pockets through out the jacket and liners are a nice touch along with the many custom adjustments that can be made. So far, I have worn it down to 20° F and still have not had to purchase a heated vest. I like the elasticated leg attachments for longer touring or wet conditions (and helps keep pants up) and also how it integrates/zips with Dainese/Ducati pants (I own the Starda pants) The hip adjustments are a slight pain but worth it to dial in that perfect fit around the waist and you should really need to do this very infrequently if at all. The collar with throat gaiter is a unexpected treat! Layered with a good balaclava you won't feel that cold bite on freezing days and you can take it out when milder outside. I found I can cannibalize the thermal liner and put it into my Air-Frame jacket as well as many Dainese parts are swappable Pro's: -Adjustability -Style -Comfort -Protection/Safety -Storage -Warmth -Fit -Details/Extra's Cons: -The zippers can get grabby with the rain gutters especially on the sleeves. One trick I use is to run a finger inside while zipping down usually works. -Venting. Very small gripe as I did get this with the intention of frigid weather, a back exhaust in the future would take this off my list. Use the sizing chart provided by Revzilla as it is SPOT ON. Measure twice, ship once! If you are tired of being cold, this is the jacket you want hands down. November 20, 2012

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
