Of all my gear, this is my favorite piece. They ooze Italian quality. I hug these things like a teddy bear when I go to sleep at night I love them so much.
I had a pair of the Alpinestars MX-2 Air Carbon gloves. They fit VERY well as if they were already broken in but they had this 3D mesh on the tops of the fingers that velcro just chewed up and frayed. Not to mention they reminded me too much of motocross gloves they were really lightweight, I didn't feel safe in them.
Next I had a pair of Icon Pursuit gloves and they were not as sleek as pictured they actually looked like you had this poofy pillow covering your nuckles.
Literally worth every penny in how these gloves are just better than anything I've put on before. Night and day difference. I feel safe now. They hold up well in a crash too btw so I tested that aspect already. No rips no tears. Just grinded the knuckles down a tad and scratched my thumb up a little. Beautiful gloves, I adore them.

I have been wearing another brand of glove - which were roughly in the same price range - for many years. I decided to get a new pair and went with Dianese because I have had really positive experiences with some of their other products.
The Scythe gloves are SO much better than my old gloves. They offer more protection, but are also lighter and more malleable. They allow greater movement in your fingers and are more sensitive...so connect you better to the bike.
They also look great.
Furthermore, unlike many Dianese products, I also think they are reasonable value.
Yes, I recommend this product.

After about 500 miles I figured my sample size would be large enough for an objective review. The gloves are pretty average in all respects. I bought these to replace a pair of Revit Curb gloves I tore up in lowside on my 848 evo. I have been riding my Ninja 650 while the Ducati is in the shop and these gloves do the job, but feel a little large to the size, and not as well built as my Revit's. To be fair I had pretty high expectations given the price (for a short cuff) and Dianese's reputation, but they seem to fall just short. The protection is adequate, but again for the same price Revit Curb and Airvolution seem to be more protective gloves. My biggest gripe is the hot spot I begin to notice on my left, ring finger knuckle after about 15-20 minutes, which seems to be due to poor ergonomic fit of the hard knuckle slider. They flow air pretty well, but I am planning to replace these with another pair of the Revit Curb's, I'm already regretting my decision to give Dianese gloves a shot.

I've had these for a few weeks now and figured I could help out anyone shopping for them. First, I have tiny hands (for an adult male!). I bought a size Small because my previous 4-Stroke Mediums were too big. I also have the Hellfire Evo in Medium which seem to fit perfect though....
Anyway, at first, these were very tight and uncomfortable. The sliders/protection on the individual fingers hurt and made my hands sore after just a half hour. After the past few weeks they have finally started to break in nicely and are very comfy and easy to get on and off. I would say they broke in quite a bit from new, so keep that in mind if you're in between sizes.
My main gripe with these though is that the thumb and pinky are way too long. The thumb being the worse of the two. and since they are short cuff, the velcro strap doesn't really help to hold them in place too much, so I have to frequently pull them back into position at stop lights. I don't know what it is, but you'd have to have some funny looking hands for these to fit perfect on all fingers.
The venting is pretty good, simply spreading your fingers lets in a nice breeze. The overall construction of the glove is solid and the leather feels very nice now that they've started to break in.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Was really excited about these gloves and they are everything I hoped they'd be. I've had them for about two weeks, daily use. Great gloves that are functional and look amazing as well. Only gripe is that I measured my hands and they are 9 in around so I ordered large and while they fit initially, the break in made wearing them uncomfortable. After break in though they are amazing. If your measurements are close I would consider going up a size but everyones hands are unique so just my two cents. Revzilla is awesome!!!

I think Dainese must have some QC issues at the moment. I think their products are well designed and stylish - but this is the second item of theirs I will need to return. The other item was sickle gloves in this style but were obvious defects with the protection stitched in the wrong places… think knuckles on the palms - it was ridicul-ass… This small rip appeared as I was putting on the gloves… make me question the quality of all the stitching when you would actually need them. Disappointed.

As all Dainese, the gloves are great looking, and they have many safety options at this price range. Make sure you have the fit correct, as in my case they were a bit smaller than expected.
In the video it states that they are true to size (XL in my case), however, they were a bit smaller.
I would still recommend the gloves as sizing is more a personal choice as to what fits well on your hands!!!!!

I have a pair of gauntlet-style gloves for the cooler months, but was really looking for something a little shorter for the rest of the year.
My previous gloves (joe rockets) have worn thru on the sides of the fingers due to the materials just wearing away, so it was time for a new pair.
I was stuck between a couple of different gloves from Revzilla, and after emailing with their support staff (They're the best!), I decided on these.
They've been great, and are just what I am looking for. Lots of tech features, and reasonably priced.
I expect they will last for quite a long time.
Yes, I recommend this product.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
  • Gloves: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
