Dainese Motorbike Knee High Sock
Socks are like McDonald's...I'm Lovin It!!!!
Ok so I'm a 10.5 in sneakers & 11 in Boots & the Large fit perfect. They are marked at the toes "R" and "L" so the cushioning gets placed on the lateral side of your shins. Great venting in the summer, I never get swampy. Fall is fine so far, so Spring would be too. Winter I wouldn't recommend just because they are thin. I've had these for about 6 months & there's been no pilling & pulling apart of the seams, which is what I was expecting. Dainese really does pull no punches when it comes to head to toe quality. I'd say these are equal or slightly higher than Under Armor socks just because of the extra padding in the right places for bikers.

Money for Nothing
It's a pair of socks so not much to say about features or protection.. They are fine the first time you wear them. Like a lot of Dainese products they are never the same once you wash them. Mine showed pilling and distortion after only one wash on the delicate cycle. You'd be better off buying regular socks that are made to last. They feel like what they are...synthetic and overpriced.

Love these socks
I never knew socks could make such a difference. I bought these and two other name brands at the same time and these are the best. They add sport and you can almost fell the air moving from you feet. Not sure of durability, but they appear to be a quality product.

If you told me when I first sat on a motorcycle 11 years ago that I would be spending $25 dollars on motorcycle socks I have laughed at you.
That seems ridiculous. And in a way it is. These are specialty socks and in no way needed to ride a motorcycle. But they do deliver on what they say.
Are they more comfortable than my normal socks? Yes, especially after a spirited late night ride. I found my feet falling asleep less often. Before I had these my right foot would fall asleep all the time. Very annoying.
Personally I like the ritual of having special socks to wear. It's dorky but when I put on these socks and my under suit then my leathers, I feel like it's riding time. Not sure if that's important to you or not.
If you have become the guy willing to spend $25 and accept the fact that they are only a minor improvement on normal socks, then buy these socks.

Feet are kept cool. They're lightweight and don't impede movement. Get a couple pairs!

As someone who has used moisture wicking socks for many years I was skeptical about how this Dainese Motorbike Sock could do anything better and be worth the money.
Well after a 12 hour ride, 38 degree morning and 79 degree day, my feet never became cold or hot and did not swell. This included and hour of walking in my riding boots as well as sitting in some traffic.
They are worth every penny and have been added to my must by more list for the ride to New Mexico.

great riding socks
These socks are great. I wear them in my Dainese Carroarmato boots. The knee-high length is good and they stay put all day. Others say their feet stay dry and I agree. One thing, though, is the socks are not warm - but I can see using them all Summer. The styling is nice. Asymmetrical design is cool. Definitely the most technical socks in my sock drawer. Worth the price.
