great product!!!..worth the money!!! first off, i must say that if you're going to get this order the Wave G2 protector for the back to complete the protection. The jacket came with the Shoulder and Elbow Protectors. My review, I LOVE THIS JACKET!!!, the fit is perfect and the Quality of the leather is top notch!!! ..Its basically a 3 season jacket for me..very very nice jacket!!!! Its worth the price considering Quality and Functionality!!! July 27, 2014
Great Jacket I haven't had this jacket a month yet and already like it so far. I've been riding without the liner in and have been comfortable riding up to 80 ish degrees with no humidity. Leaving work at night the lowest it has been wearing the jacket was 56 degrees and still comfortable. As far as fitment goes I was skeptical ordering online but if you follow the charts they are real close. I am 5'10", weigh 200 lbs and ordered a size 52 which has a little bit of slack for when you would want to have the liner in or put back protection in. If you are looking for something different than the rest that has what I would call a street race fit this is the perfect jacket. July 21, 2014
This Jacket is worth the high price This jacket is expensive even for a college student but I look at it as my medical insurance too. This jacket is very sturdy and holds up very well, I havent fallen with it yet but I have no doubts in my mind that my torso will be well intact. This jacket fits a little big for someone of my build. Im 6'2 185lbs and I ordered a size 54. the shoulders and arm length are perfect but the stomach area is slightly bigger, even after fully adjusting it. But I love the way it feels and looks, and it flows air very well! well worth the 500$ June 27, 2014
I wear this jacket unless it's raining It's a high quality leather jacket, but like all things Dainese a little on the pricey side. It flows air well for a leather jacket and it has a liner for colder temps, although I haven't had a need to use it yet. I'm a big fan of the jacket and I wear it pretty much every time I ride. This product protected me during my crash First let me say I loved this product from the moment I tried it on. I started wearing this jacket with leather pants that zip to the jacket. I thought the jacket looked good, but what the review is really about is how this jacket performed when I crashed two days ago. I crashed my bike at 70mph and slid and tumbled down the freeway for about 50yards. The only bit of road rash I had after the crash was on my wrist where my glove pulled back a little bit. The impact armor in the shoulders and the elbows of the jacket did a great job. I had no broken bones. The jacket is scuffed up, but realistically I could use it again. The jacket did not rip apart, and did not wear all the way through to my skin. This jacket was well worth the price. If you can afford to buy a nice jacket like this to protect you and to look good, do it. Thanks for reading and be smart while riding. June 16, 2014
Great jacket, very comfortable, versatile for both summer and chilly weather, would definitely recommend this jacket. Versatile and suitable for riding in summer and chilly weather as you can wear with or without the inner lining. It zips nicely with my Dianese Air Frazer pants making highway riding much more comfortable. Great jacket, good looks, comfortable fit, money well spent! June 16, 2014
Great three season jacket. I needed a high-quality leather jacket for city riding in temperatures between 45 and 85 degrees. My main reasons for choosing the Laguna EVO was the styling and Dainese's reputation. Springtime in Wisconsin is highly unpredictable, but this jacket has handled those wide temperature swings nicely. With the liner in, it's warm enough on cool days without being too tight, and on 80+ days the perforations let enough air through to prevent overheating. I think it may become too hot in 90+ but haven't tested it yet. Sizing chart was spot on - I'm 5'10" / 148 lbs. and size 46 was a perfect fit. The jacket is comfortable, looks great, and I've had no problems with the armor, zippers, or snaps. My only complaint was the need to buy a back protector separately, for which I subtracted one point for "bang for the buck". Very happy with this purchase overall. June 15, 2014
Very good product I am impressed with this jacket. The sizing is close to true. I tried size 50, but exchanged for 52. I measured in size 50, but the jacket with the liner was a bit tight. 52 is perfect. June 9, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Bryan K: I was looking for a good 3 season jacked that offered good protection, and styling that wasn't really flashy. This jacket has excellent airflow at speeds above 30 mph. It was a bit chilly when i was caught on a ride in 50 degree weather without the liner. Aug 6, 2014
dzhoni g: Protection, functionality and style Jul 6, 2014
Stuart K: I liked the lower profile styling and color. Dainese of course is a top manufacturer particularly preferred in Europe. I have had many Fainese products and trust their quality.

The perforated leather was particularly important for the hot summer.

Bryan K: i wanted a jacket that offered decent protection while not being really flashy and douchebag like Jun 3, 2014
JD B: Love the look and cut and feel of this jacket. Dainese leather always smells awesome too. May 31, 2014
Jon W: Always wanted a Dainese jacket. May 30, 2014
Robert C: Styling, protection, Dainese reputation for quality. May 4, 2014
Josh D: A more subdued and relaxed style than other jackets. Unfortunately, I have to send it back as it just does not fit me. The main problem is the collar was high and pressed on my neck. It was disappointing because the jacket appears to be very high quality and the leather is soft unlike some of the jackets I've owned in the past. Apr 20, 2014

A shopper asked: Hi,
I noticed Anthony Mentioning this being the Black /black version in the video, However the black/black according to the pictures has the black accents with black Demon Logo ?
question is for the black /black would it still come with the white or black Demon Logo also is there a black/red version as available like the one on Dainese website? All question relate to the Perforated version.

Thanks

Frank N: If this helps, I ordered the black/white perforated version from here. Mine looks exactly like the black/white pictured except the top collar part. Instead of the top collar part being white, mine is black. But everything else looks exactly as pictured Mar 5, 2014

Jean Pierre V: I am want to know the same thing. He says the one in the video is the black/black option, but it has a white logo? Also if there is a black with red demon option, I would buy one right now. Mar 22, 2014

A shopper asked: I noticed the Airfast does not have the 360 zipper to attach to pants. Does this jacket? I've got a pair of Air Drake pants and want to find a good jacket to match up. Feb 10, 2014

Matthew V: Yes. the Laguna EVO Perforated Leather Jacket has the 360 zipper. I have attached it to Dainese Alien and Dainese Delta Pro pants. Great jacket. Feb 18, 2014

Justin B: Yes the Dainese Laguna EVO jacket has a 360 zipper, it zips right into my Dainese leather pants. I love the jacket, it breathes very well! Feb 18, 2014

A shopper asked: I tried on this jacket in a 48 at a local shop and without the lining I could zip it up with a back insert and a chest protector in. it was tight but I assume will stretch out a bit. With the lining in I wasn't able to zip it up with that armour in.

I'm 6'1 and 190lbs. Should I get the 48 and assume it will stretch or just get a 50? I understand that you should get the tightest jacket you can zip up because you want it to not move at all. I also felt the sleeves were a bit short with the 48 but my gloves should cover that.

John C: Just get the 50. Yes, the perforated flavor of the laguna breathes wayy better then the non-perf, but at the end of the day, youre still riding around inside a dead cow. Its still hotter to wear than most other materials out there (says the guy riding in New England). Having a bit of room really helps it to breathe. The beauty of good leathers like these is that they only stretch if you want them to. If you buy a bit tight, it may form to you. If you buy a bit on the loose side, you know exactly how it'll fit next season. As long as the shoulder and elbow armor isnt swinging about inside the jacket while its on, the pads will end up where they need to be if/when they're put to work. Jul 1, 2014

JD B: They have a very liberal return policy. What I have done in the past (at other sites) is order BOTH jackets and return the one that doesn't fit.

For Dianese, I tried them on at a Ducati shop, got my size and ordered from HERE.

FWIW:
By the way, when you say 48, I presume you mean EURO 58, which would equate to a USA 48? - I am 6' 180lbs and wear EURO 58 as show on the jacket tag inside. I swim in a 60 and the 46 is tight in the underarms.

Garret C: You may want the 50 just so you have the sleeve length. The jacket will settle in but more like it relaxes rather than stretches. Plus in the winter that thermal liner really adds some internal bulk. Yea you want it right but it's nice to be able to inhale too. Love this jacket and revzilla is the most helpful, best servicing company out there. Jul 2, 2014

Jon B: It will stretch some. However, based on what you describe I would opt for the larger size. IMO, a size 48 is too tight for you. In fact, a size 50 will probably still be very tight fitting. I originally purchased a size 50 and then returned it for a size 52. Good luck. Jul 1, 2014
Reply to Jon Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Dylan M: Personally I would get the next size up because the insert allows you to ride in more weather, and as tight as youre making it sound, I dont think you would be very comfortable riding. It should still be tight with the next size up. Jul 2, 2014
Reply to Dylan Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Dustin S: This is a tough question to answer. You know that your uncomfortable buying the 48 b/c its tight with the liner and back protector in and short in the sleeves. I would buy the 50 and if I wasn't satisfied I would simply return it. Jul 2, 2014

A shopper asked: It is said in review that the elbow protectors are removable as well as shoulder protectors. Is it actually right and I could remove elbow protectors painlessly? Apr 25, 2014

zachary w: I dont recall being able to remove elbow pads. Im pretty sure they're not removable. Maybe im not seeing something but it looks likes in built in between the actual liner (not the thermal) and the jacket itself. Apr 28, 2014

Don A: My jacket is tight and did not stretch hardly at all. I would suggest a 50. If you can't zip it with the liner in it's too tight. I crashed in mine and the jacket was zipped to the pants and it worked well. I found that a jacket too tight restricts my movements a little and I didn't like that. I like to be able to shift around on the bike freely when doing wheelies and cornering hard. Good luck

Alexis A: I am 5'8" with a 42" chest and I weigh 160lbs and I wear a 48 comfortably with or without a back protector in. This jacket isn't really cut for a chest protector but if the arm length is perfect (in a riding position!), I'd stick with 48. I suspect that somebody who is 6'1" will feel the arm length a bit short once in a riding position since it's perfect for me (5'8"). Jul 1, 2014

blake s: I have worn my jack about 7 times riding. I think that it only "broke in" / stretched very little so far. If I was wearing both chest and back protection all the time I would have got the larger size. I ordered both 52 & 54 and kept the 52 because I will wear it without liner 95% of the time with forcefield back protector only. Jul 1, 2014

JAMES C: I have a Manis G2 in my size 56. Maximum size back protector that will fit I am sure.not sure if it would fit a smaller jacket. I assume they change pocket size based on jacket size. Jun 26, 2014

Devin G asked: This is about szing.
Alright im about 5'11 138lbs and my chest measures about 90cm so my euro size is 46. Im looking to get this dainese jacket in a 46 But I just tried on a alpine leather jacker for fun and that was a size 52 Euro and fit pretty good on me nice and tight. So I was wondering what the sizing difference is between dainese and alpine?
May 24, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Dustin S: @Devin. I ordered true to me suit jacket size. I'm a 38 inch chest ~97cm. My jacket size is a 48. It fits snug with the liner but has room with it out. I'll also tell you this is my first leather jacket. It's good for temps 45F-80ish. Anything over 80F is quite warm. In conclusion I say go with your suit jacket size. May 29, 2014
Reply to Dustin Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Justin N: I don't know the difference but I am almost exactly your size and I fit in a size 48 the best for the Laguna Evo. Your arms will be too long for a 46 and a 50 might fit but will probly be a bit loose. May 29, 2014

Devin G: Thanks justin and I actually ordered the jacket a couple days ago in the size 48 so hopefully it will fit good. May 29, 2014
Devin G: Hi Justin, So i ordered the size 48 and just got the jacket it fits pretty snug and when i go to sit on my bike the jacket rides up my body causing the collar to hit my chin, and leaving my lower back (right above the tailbone) not covered. but yet the jacket still feels tight with/without the liner and feels pretty descent when im standing but as soon as i sit on the bike that's when the size feels too small/uncomfortable. My question is this how my jacket is suppose to feel like? How does your jacket feel? And what is your advice in the matter? May 31, 2014

Alexis A: Dainese has a narrower waist than Alpinestars. Dainese is Italian cut, which is more severe of a taper shoulders to waist than a French cut. Alpinestars is cut for American bellies so it has extra belly material and almost no drop. Jul 1, 2014
Reply to Alexis Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Scott H: If your smaller than 90cm I'd go with a 44. If your bigger than 90cm I'd go with the 46. If your 90cm on the nose you could go either way. My size was suppose to be a 54 with my 107.5cm chest size. I listened to Tony and went down to a size 52. It fits perfect. I know nothing about Alpinestar sizing. can't help you there. My other 2 dainese jackets are a 54. I tried on 52's in those 2 jackets and they were to tight. Laguna EVO runs a little big May 29, 2014

A shopper asked: Hi, I'd like to wear this as a casual jacket as well, but are the elbow and forearm protectors removable too? If so, would the sleeves look a bit baggy in the presence of the void?

Thanks.

Scott H: I personally wouldn't wear this jacket in a casual setting. I'd buy another jacket that's a little bit more understated like the Razon or some of Sidi's jackets. Elbow pads do not come out. Apr 5, 2014
