We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chest: Measure from under/top of armpit across chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
  • Gloves: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.

Dainese Aero EVO Race Suit 4.8 5 4 4
Nice Suit From Dainese, it's obviously a nice suit with great protection. I assumed that, and I haven't been disappointed since receiving it. My questions and concerns were about sizing, as it's so difficult to buy anything.....sight unseen. I'm 5'-10" and 185-190 pounds. I had been wearing a size 54 suit, but Revzilla recommended a size 52. When the suit arrived in size 52, I could barely get it on. It was impossible, almost painful, to attempt to stand up straight, even in a full tuck on the bike I had pressure across my traps. The bottom half fit perfectly, but the chest/back/shoulders were very tight as were the arms when I bent my elbows. I continued to wear it for multiple days, and then added my Forcefield L2K back and Forcefield chest protector. Just wearing, extensively, around the house and the suit is fitting almost perfectly now. I've applied generous amounts of leather conditioner to it to help speed the break-in, and now with the chest and back protectors out, it's almost too big and I can almost stand up straight. The D-skin will give and mold to you very well. Once the track season begins, it should fully break-in quickly and be perfect. When you get this, or any suit, if it's tight when it's brand new, just wear it......a lot. They will break in, and the more snug it fits, the better the protection you'll have. The knees were painfully tight in my previous suit when i bought it. Even that broke in well and the knees loosened up. As they say, if it zips.......it fits. :) Also, with this suit, the W zippers take some practice. Make sure you bend to zip it. January 22, 2015
Awesome 1 piece Great protection, saved me in a low side, bit on the small side figment wise...... July 7, 2014
Great Suit! Very comfortable and breathes well! Love this suit, very comfortable and easy to get in and out of will all the zippers opened. The front pocket is great for storing your wallet/phone and when the front is unzipped you can stand up and dont need to stay hunched over when you're off the bike. In the bike the suit feel like an extension of your skin, the pucks line up perfectly and there is no movement at all. I'm 5'11" 185lbs, bought a 52 and the fit is right on! December 9, 2013

Noell R: There is no back or chest protection included. I use the dainese wave chest pro, and it fits great. I didnt need to size up, as the suit will stretch a bit. Nov 18, 2013

RevZilla: As far as we know the Dainese Aero EVO Race Suit has Aluminum inserts on the knees as well as the elbows. Please keep in mind that this suit has not yet been released and there may or may not be some changes before its release. Nov 19, 2012

Wafflefry: On the Dainese site it does show aluminum hardparts for both knee and elbow. Also to note, Revzilla understandably was given a pre-production prototype as you can see they also esthetically improved the front torso design. Mar 31, 2013
