I was surprised with how durable this was. I went down on some dirt , thinking I had ruined the mirror. However, all it needed was a readjustment. I'm happy I got these instead of a cheap set

There is nothing more to say but phenomenon.
Here is what I have to say.
People have been saying good and bad things about this mirror. But who really know what it really capable of.
First of all, zero blind spot. Convex glass.
Secondly, your view stays whatever you do. Angle the bar or do a lean don't change your mirror view too much. Naturally, that what a convex glass is good for. Ground stays horizontally, and lanes keep looking the same. A huge change for anyone stuck on mirror-on-bar-thing.
Thirdly, its name "split lane" actually explain its limit. You can't determine anything further than 1 lane next to you properly, like, going between lanes (but it's good for 3, including the one you ride on)
Next, they advertise the coating. and they're right. Not much haze even the sun is behind me. So I can keep change-lane safely (no, mine is not CA, no split-lane).
So what the deal?
The mirror is fully modular. If you break any piece, get an replacement on that piece only. Never throw away your mirror because of a dented rim or the shaft breaks.
Contacting the manufacture is recommended.
Also, some people mention the wider handle bar. It happens be cause it's a bar-end mirror. Can't complain if you misread its name. (3 inches each side, if anyone curious).
So, in short.
(if you worry about the distortion and the indeterminable view then 8/10)
Durability? 100000/10 or what makes you happy. This thing is fixable.
Ease of install? 10/10
So, don't be fool. This a steal. I never go back to normal mirror.

Best barend mirrors out there
I used these to replace the stock mirrors on my 2007 sv650n. First of all, these mirrors really cleaned up the look of the bike. Getting rid of the antenna mirrors really lowered the profile of the bike which gave it a much crisper look. The finish of the mirror and material are top-notch which should be expected considering the high cost of the product. Aside from the improved cosmetics, the mirrors added SUPERIOR side and rear vision. It eliminated my blind spots, dramatically increasing my field of vision over the stock mirrors.
To install the mirrors, I had to cut my left grip about 10mm to expose enough handlebar to clip the barend mirror onto. The installation on the right hand side was a bit trickier. I cut about 10mm off the grip and the throttle underneath using a hacksaw to get enough clearance for the mirror. You can also avoid cutting the throttle by shifting everything over on the handlebar, of course. You can also avoid cutting your grips altogether by getting bar end extensions made by CRG.
