CRG Billet Internal Adaptor For CRG Bar End Mirror
Does it's job beautifully, but...
First off, this product works just fine. My blindside mirrors fit perfectly into the adapter for a very appealing result.
Install was pretty easy, but creates a few issues (will explain later). While install is somewhat hard to explain, all you have to do is throw on the little pieces and tighten using an allen wrench. At first you will wonder how it will ever work, but it will. I only needed to use the 2 base pieces for my FZ 09, as the handlebars are thinner.
Here are the issues, which is less about the product and more about bar end mirrors in general.
1) Be careful installing the throttle side adapter. Stock bar end weights are designed to fit nicely around the throttle to not get it jammed. If you install these adapters too close, they will restrict the throttle from moving properly. Obviously a stuck throttle is a bad throttle. Also, installing these adapters too far out will allow dust/water/ debris to get inside the handlebars. So you have to play around with it to get it as close as possible without restricting the throttle at all (or do some surgery on your grips/ bars).
2) bar ends are weighted for a reason. It keeps the handlebars more stable at higher speeds and generally helps with maneuvering the bars and therefore the bike. These adaptors are very light, so you lose the bar end weight aspect when installing them.
Both of these are pros and cons you have to take i suppose though when switching to bar end mirrors.
One last tip, make sure the bike is level before installing the adaptors. Heard several horror stories of the pieces breaking loose during install and falling into the handlebar. Fortunately, install is so easy that you can technically do it while sitting on the bike (for those without a vertical bike stand)

Fitment issues with BMW S1000RR (all model years)
While this is a quality made product this will not install on a BMW S1000RR without extensive modification to the handlebars or replacement of the stock handlebars. The stock design has threaded internals that secure the stock bar ends. You will have to mill out the internals. This is not easily done, who has a vertical mill available? The other option is to put clip-ons on the bike. This is difficult due to the stock setup and how they connect to the triple, they are not "clip-ons". The easiest route was to order new bar ends from Rhino Motorcycle Products. They designed a weighted bar end or unweighted if you prefer with a notched section to specifically fit the CRG handlebar brackets. They secure into the bar ends using the stock M12 bolt. A pair will set you back about $80 with shipping but it's cheaper than switching to clip-ons.

Straight forward install, as long as there isn't a custom application
Easy peasy install on the clutch side. Throttle side can be challenging to prevent the adapter from rotating or causing friction/resistance with the throttle.
Depending on the grips you have, you may run into issues. I have Kuryakyn Iso-Grips installed on my Harley, and a Brakeaway cruise control device, so it presented a need for modification.
See the video for how I got it to work.

So easy to install
Didn't want to move my grips and levers and reservoirs. These billets made accommodating the mirrors without too much work so easy.

Great quality product, easy to install. I don't know about durability, if only had the product 2 months. So far, so good.

Took literally 30 seconds to install and now don't have to worry about the mirrors falling off...

For my FZ8
I gave 3 stars for "installation" because it took some work to remove excisting bar end adapter. After all was said and done. The adapter work perfectly and CRG mirrors look AWESOME as well!!!

I have a 2013 Triumph Street Triple and these bar ends do not work with the OEM bar. The bar on the street triple is not hollow and has a thread for the bolt that is it. I made this adapter work by grinding it down and had to used a different bolt which the size was in between the oem and one included in the kit. Overall the bar ends are good and the crg arrow bar end mirrors are great and give me a better view compared to stock ones
