Cortech Super 2.0 Contoured Saddlebags Videos

Cortech Super 2.0 Contoured 26L Saddlebags

The Cortech Super 2.0 Contoured Saddlebags are a great choice for those standard or sport bikes with curved tail sections. The protective heat shielding on lower section of the saddlebags helps to reflect heat from exhaust pipes, but be aware that a minimum clearance of 2” is required. A non-slip, non-scratch diamond pattern strap and side pad help to protect the finish of the bike, while a quick-release mounting system connects Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bags to the Contoured Saddlebags, expanding the storage capacity. Rain covers are included for those times when wet weather can't be avoided.

Features:

  • Form fitted and angular design fits most modern standard/sport motorcycle tail sections
  • 1680 denier ballistic polyester and 1800 denier three-lined twill Jacquard weave side pockets with polyester backing
  • Protective heat shielding on lower section of bags help reflect heat from exhaust pipes (minimum clearance of 2” required)
  • Protective non-slip, non-scratch diamond pattern strap and side pads help to protect the motorcycle’s finish
  • Two-Tone red and black soft interior lining
  • Zippered side pocket on each bag
  • Phoslite reflective piping
  • Quick-release mounting system connects to Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bags
  • 17”L x 5”W x 10”D (13 Liters per bag, 26 Liters total)

Great saddlebags! Perfect for long trips as well as commuting.
I've had these bags for about a year now and I use them almost every day. When compressed they have plenty of space for just about everything you could want to carry; unzip the compression panels and BOOM! You can fit a spare pair of boots, clothes for three days, tool roll, chain lube, spare gloves, the rain covers, everything you need for a four day trip!
If you integrate the tail bag then you have even more room! If you have some spare speed buckles around that fit you can strap down a sleeping bag on top or in my case a weather cover for my bike.
They haven't scratched my paint, or scuffed up my rear seat at all. I've probably put 2000+ miles on with these bags strapped to the back of my bike. Once you have the straps snugged down they won't budge at all!
(My best suggestion with them would be to buy a few stuff sacs or smaller dividing bags so you can put everything in those then put them into the saddle bags.

Great Product, Watch out for Scuffing
I just took these bags on a 1200mi trip. It carried everything I brought with me. Strapped it down nice and tight.

Be cautious if you have a (non-removable) cowl on your seat. I used masking tape to protect the paint where the tie-down straps might contact the bodywork -- I should have treated the entire thing because there are 5 places where the clearcoat has been removed.

Apply some 3M Film prior to installation and you won't have any problems.

Really Awesome Saddlebags!!
These Are Really Really Great Bags, I also purchased the Cortech Super 2.0 24L Tail Bag that attaches to the top of the Saddlebags, I also own the Cortech Super 2.0 18L Magnetic Tank Bag, the Cortech Super 2.0 12L Magnetic Tank Bag as well as the Cortech Super 2.0 Backpack.. The Quality is Superb on Every Product I own in the Cortech Line..
The Contour Saddlebags fit a Sport Bike Perfectly, they Hug The Entire Side of the Bike and the Fit Is Superb!! I also Love how easily the Expandable Tail Bag Clips onto the Saddlebags and How Easily it attaches to the rear seat without the Saddlebags on the Bike..
My ONLY Reason for the 4 Stars is because the Saddlebags are on the Small Side, It would be SO SO AWESOME if the Saddlebags Were EXPANDABLE with a zipper around the outer cover so that the sides popped out to make for more carry space..
OTHER THAN THAT THIS ENTIRE LINE OF BAGS IS SIMPLY AWESOME AND LOOK SUPERB ON THE BIKE, I GET TONS OF COMPLIMENTS

Great fit on a Triumph Street Triple Rx, but small.
I haven't ridden with these yet. I'm mainly posting this review to say that they fit great on my Triumph Street Triple Rx, which has the Daytona tail section. They didn't fit with my after-market tail tidy, but I put the stock license plate holder back on and the fit is excellent now. Once you get all the straps adjusted, they take under a minute to remove/reinstall. I'm hesitating about whether to keep them or switch to the non-contoured version, though. The contoured ones are only 13L each, with no expansion capacity. That's enough room for my 40 degree sleeping bag, tent, camp stove, and a fuel canister, but it doesn't leave much room for food or clothes. On the other hand, I'm worried the non-contoured ones will feel too bulky.

Was looking for a saddle bags to thrown on my R6 and they fit perfect. I later added that tail bag that easily snaps in for extra storage. Easy mount and dismount in seconds.

Looks like they would fit well on a ZX6R. Already have a Cortech Super 2.0 tail bag that I'm very satisfied with. These will supposedly clip to that one or vice versa.

i have a naked bike (2010 z1000) will this be ok with 2 up riding? i know the Blaze bag connection was ok but too pricey for me
so would this be ok with passenger? or should i get the regular cortech 2.0?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The two connecting straps sit on top of the pillion seat (or at least the thicker one, depending on the bike) so a passenger would have to sit on top of them. They are soft so might be OK for a short ride but wouldn't do it on a proper trip.
Hi. Would this fit 2013 Triumph Thruxton?

Are these bags the same size as the non-contoured saddlebags? Are they just rounded but still expand to 50l?
A C on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, these only expand up to 26L. I would say these are more suited for sport bikes. I've got them on my 07' R6 have done well so far.
Does the mounting system allow easy removal of the bags? Such as taking them into a motel at night.
A shopper on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, these Saddlebags have a 3 point strapping system. It is Very Very Easy to slip them on and take them off!! Very Convenient Bags, Just great bags..
I cant say enough good things about them..
Hi there, would like to check whether anyone have tried to fit these on a 2010 hayabusa?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I own these saddle bags & I must say I LOVE them!! I pulled up pictures of your motorcycle to look and I would say if you have the passenger seat version yes but if you bike is a the single seat rider only version then it would for sure not work. These bags are designed to hang across the rear passenger seat and they are attached to each other by 2 straps that need to rest on a flat surface. If your bike has the sort of fin like cover behind the rider seat it would for sure not work.
Hope this helps.
These Bags Are So Awesome Though!!!
I was wondering IF these CORTECH saddle bags would work and or fit on my 2008 FXDC H-D???? I believe they are form-fitted, or contoured and was looking for an answer as to my application or not, Thanking You in Advance, Mike
A shopper on Sep 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Keep in mind the two versions. Contoured and non-contoured. I believe the non-contoured will work. The contoured works with sportsbikes.
Would This Work Well With a Kawasaki Ninja 300 2014?

BEST ANSWER: i have these mounted on the ninja 650 so i dont see why they wouldn't fit on the 300
Would This Work Well With A 2007 ZX6R?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Well saying that I have the new 636 it was a bit of a time setting it up initially. I took this babies for nearly 1,500 mile trip ND there where great. When I had to put them back on to leave it took a lot less time. Because it was already adjusted for the bike. Judging by the tail of the 07 ZX-6R it should fit fine. Be will to get that 24lt expandable tail bag too it clips right in!! So be patient you shouldn't have any issues getting then to fit. The only real heart ache will be getting it adjusted. So go for it after the first time it will go a lot faster every time as long as you keep it for that bike.
Deciding between these and the standard version for my 2016 R3 and curious if anyone has tried them on one And how the fit was?
