Solid murdered out jacket
I will clarify, I am a brand new rider to the street scene. When I am purchasing gear I am always seeking out items that offer a great deal of protection without looking garish or loud. Cortech has put together a very fine jacket based on my limited experience.
-This thing doesn't have any additional vents on it just as is stated in the video, the perforated nature of the front panel has been flowing air just fine in my opinion. I compare it to my very standard Ninja 500 that is air cooled, as long as we are not at a complete standstill we are very comfortable and regulate temps accordingly.
-The perforated exterior may scare off some who are looking for more of a year round jacket, the included liner is a nice feature for cooler days. The construction of the liner although simple does have some nice touches that show some thought was put into the garment. For example, the entire unit zips into place, and also has color coded eyelets for the left and right side if it has been a while since you took it out.
-There are 3 pockets altogether, two exterior on the front and one interior in the left breast area. The exterior pockets are semi-small in my opinion. I have just enough room for my wallet and phone. Individuals with a set of panniers or who often carry a backpack can work around this. The inner pocket I haven't messed with except to place my proof of insurance in (in a waterproof baggie, perforated jacket remember).
-The slight tail on this jacket is one of my favorite aspects to the design and cut of the garment. I am in a semi-aggressive stance due to the nature of my bike and I love the extended coverage on my lower back when I lean forward.
-There is CE rated armor in the Elbows and shoulders. As well as a basic insert for a back protector included. I already had an alternate spine protector from mountain biking that I wear, but swapping the spine protector would be an easy change if you felt the need.
In addition to all those specific points I would like to address the very subtle nature of the graphics and logos on this jacket. I for one have felt no need to try an alter this jacket and possibly damage the leather by removing any of the logos affixed to it. The whole thing is very subdued and I have no problem with folks being able to discern the different logos on my gear that I am rocking when they get close enough to finally see them.
Sizing - This jacket is definitely a "European" cut as they state in the review video. I am considered a "fit" individual even though I don't go to the gym regularly and definitely enjoy a Cold Smoke whenever I get the chance. What I am trying to say is as long as you don't have a beer belly, imagine a straight plane from chest to waist, or even if you do have a small one this should fit just fine. There are two adjustable hip straps just in case. I appreciate that there is no excess material billowing around my waist.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and felt the potential increased cost of going full leather as opposed to mesh was well worth it. This jacket is forgiving when fairly warm, and you can feel the sturdiness of its construction when you don it before a ride.

Great subdued black leather jacket
I bought one of these because of the collar and the subdued styling. Rather than having a raised, button over collar this jacket has an open collar. This prevents the jacket from hitting my adam's apple, and makes the jacket so much more comfortable to wear. I also (carefully) pulled the stitching out of the logos on the arm/shoulder area, to result in a jacket that is a very basic, simple, black leather jacket... something that has become hard to find at a reasonable price point. The only negatives are a lack of a back protector and the somewhat small hand warmer pockets. Fit is somewhat snug/athletic.

A shopper asked:The size charge says a large should fit a 42" chest, but the video states that the guy wearing the Medium size jacket has a 42" chest and fits him perfectly. Which is correct?Jul 6, 2015
