Decent cheap tire No complaints about the tire, had one on the rear before this bought it again just to match the front once that's gone probably going to replace with a different tire. Road in the rain numerous times doesn't seem to want to slip out holds turns great wet or dry. These tires wear fast, once they are about half life they just go. Still average amount of miles before completely bald. I have not rode many other tires so tough for me to give a good review about this tire. July 19, 2016
Worst traction I've ever experienced Poorest tyre I've ever had on my Kawasaki ZRX1200R. I'm not an aggressive rider but still loosing traction when accelerating in a way to have some fun. Problem occurs in wet and dry. Maybe a suitable tyre for a very low powered bike when commuting in a straight line but definitively not for sports touring. July 6, 2016
Price point isn't everything I bought these for an "07 GSXR 750. They are at the bottom of the barrel for grip. If you are just commuting back and forth, they will do the job. If you plan on riding hard and riding twisties, wear a ton of gear, chances are you will be picking your kiester up off the pavement. They seem like they have difficulty warming up unless you do burnouts before you ride. My best advice is to go OEM or higher if you really plan on riding. I would advise staying away from these unless you are absolutely pinched for cash and have to get a tire. May 7, 2016
Cant Complain, especially for the price! So I have only been riding for two years, and these tires are on my 2006 Sv650, and I never even thought about them. . I did burnouts, slid around corners, went to one track day, and a few cornering schools. I also live in the Bay Area, and frequent Hwy 9, very twisty, and a lot of guys are running track tires up there. . But not me! I honestly should have bought another pair of these tires. . I road them from Santa Clara to Oregon and back, and sure they get a little square, but any tire you ride on the freeway will do that. Also my bike is very torque EE, and I pull hard out of every corner, and every take off. . And still managed to get about 6000 miles out of them. . I didn't see the metal belts, and the only reason I changed tires is because they were starting to get the rubber rolling off of the middle. . And the front tire got a slice in it from an off road adventure I took while in the Mtns. . I pushed these tires very hard, and maybe I shouldn't have, but they worked like a champ! And were super cheap. . Heres my honest opinion, I think tires are important, but I think ridding is 80 % mental, 10 % skill, and 10 % luck. . . January 28, 2016
Good Bang for the Buck This tire has good grip, for a great price. Tread life is it's weak point however. Don't expect this tire to last more than 4,000-4,500 miles. If you are looking for an inexpensive tire to get you back on the road, it is a good choice. September 21, 2015
Do NOT Buy Conti-Motion Worst cold tire traction I've ever experienced. If you ride in a colder climate, you may not be able to get enough heat into the tire to make it stick regardless of how long you try to heat it up. Tread life is awful. This is my second Conti-Motion. The first was replaced by the shop at a reduced cost. Both rear tires only lasted about 2500 miles each before steel belts started to come through. I do not burnout, drift or have sloppy downshifts where the back tire gets dragged. Pressure was always kept at 40 lbs and the wheel itself was balanced and true. The tires were on a 2003 Yamaha FZ1. A call to the ONLY manufacturer rep in the US for Continental two wheeled vehicles is in NJ and nowhere near SLC, UT to inspect the tire. Learn from my mistake. You get what you pay for and this was nothing more than a complete waste of money and time. Do not buy Conti-Motion. RUBBISH!!! August 20, 2015
Great tire for the price. This tire came pre-installed on my cbr1000rr from the PO, so I figured I might as well try it out before replacing it. I was surprised to find that the grip on this "budget" tire was impressive, especially when used on a literbike. I only had 2 instances of losing any traction, and both were a result of too much throttle while leaned fully over. Rode once in the rain, and I probably would not recommend these as all-weather tires. I did 2 track days on these, never had any problems. As long as you let these warm up, they will provide plenty of grip. I got exactly 3700 miles out of these before I hit the wear bars (kinda hard to tell, since there's no tread in the middle). Pretty happy considering I ride very agressively and did 2 full days at the track. Proof is in the pictures (taken after 2nd track day). August 10, 2015
Nice tire Seems good, although I haven't had a chance to put them through much testing (stupid bike is broken down again). I got a little excited going through some twisties and should have died lol but didn't. So there's that to speak for the tires haha. June 1, 2015
