Competition Werkes Integrated Taillight Yamaha R6 2008-2016
Great product, easy install, could use an explaination for the wires.
Everything worked out great after realizing that the little wires that came with the product actually plug into the socket itself. There is nothing that tells you that and seeing it was plug and play I was rather confused as to what to do with little pin sized wires that were supposed to go into a penny sized socket. Other than that, product was great. Shipping was quick and packaging for protection was good.

Blackout was exactly what I wanted
2016 Matte Gray Yamaha R6, this light looks like it should have came stock. Looks good, brake light (bright red) is bright, turn signal (flashing yelling) is easily communicated. This will change the flashing rate and detailed instructions do not come included.

Poor quality, and dangerous for street use.
I purchased this taillight to complement a left over Graves fender eliminator I had from a 06 R6. I installed this onto my new 2015 R6. instructions were vague but anyone with electrical skills can easily wire things up with no headache. Fitment was good no issues. I do however have several MAJOR issues with this light. Yes the brake light itself is extremely bright, but what happens is when you have a signal on and the brakes are applied it washes out the signal and it just looks like a flashing mess very hard for following drivers to understand your intentions. That is a big safety concern. Also it claims to be dot compliant yet lacks any of the necessary markings to prove this. I failed Massachusetts state inspection because of that, and also due to a state law I didn't know about where there must be a 9" gap between turn signals. as far as quality is concerned the outer lens was very clouded looking, and at night would reflect light back into the assembly causing a ugly and cheap looking glow. there is also a "security" feature that was not mentioned that had me chasing wires for a few days. One led in the center of the housing is wired to a capacitor that holds a charge after the bike is turned off. The led remains lit for several hours to make people believe you have an alarm system. I absolutely do not recommend this product to anyone riding on the street. Be safe and do things right buy quality signals that are spaced and clearly visibly. This product is dangerous and not worth the risk or money.

This product was great! Really bright and easily seen.
This is a great product and I recommend it to everyone. Easily seen in day and night , extremely bright LEDs. The instillation was very easy. The only negative I have is that I wish the instructions were more detailed on which wires to splice into. Would have saved me a fuse, but I found the diagram online.

Easy to install, may require some splicing or creative wiring for the turn signals
I got this for my 2015 R6 it works great was pretty easy to install, i was concerned about buying anything that requires wire splicing since i really didn't want to splice the factory wires (it's a brand new bike) anyway this does come with built in wire hook ups but they don't fit perfectly into the factory harness so i had to tape the wires down to keep them from break loose from the factory harness otherwise i would've had to splice them in. Overall its a good Unit works perfectly and is pretty easy to install once you know how to take the tail apart, as others have mentioned there is one LED that stays on after the bike is turned off however it does go off after about an hour, and since it's an LED i don't suspect nor have i seen any significant drain on the battery.

No instructions but easy to figure out.
Didn't come with instructions but with some tinkering you can figure out which wire goes where. Doesn't take to long. Spent more time taking the bike apart then actually installing the light. I do have a ghost light though. At least that's what we're calling it. Even when we completely unplugged all the electrical wires I still had one bulb shining. So that's interesting. But otherwise very simple and easy installment if you know what you're doing.
