Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit Triumph Street Triple / R 2013-2014
- Looks really clean
- Only comes in metalic finish (I ended up painting mine black so it wouldn't stand out too much)
- Wiring for lights does not have OEM style connectors, so stock wiring must be mutilated to hook up.
- The fitment is about 90% accurate. There are gaps left in some portions which could easily let in water from rear tire splash.
- Instructions were more confusing than useful. Wish they had better illustrations and less text. Had to assemble and disassemble multiple times before getting the right combination of parts.
I wish they had color choices, OEM style connectors, and fitment that would create a proper weather seal. In the end I'm satisfied with the way it looks and the sturdiness of the assembly.
I would recommend this product but would disclose of all the cons to make sure people are making informed decisions.

Don't waste your money
I thought this bad boy reading the other not so great reviews and I wish I would have listened. You are better off buying the C&G fender eliminator. Not only is this extremely difficult to install if you have no wiring skills, but the holes that were cut out for the wiring to go through DOES NOT MATCH UP. The cut outs are off alignment by about half an inch which is a huge issue because when it came to feeding the wires through they DIDNT FIT. I had to cut a little more just so the wires can go through right. The worst part is that after getting it installed when i went driving I hit a small bump going about 20, so like normal driving and the fender eliminator literally lines up with the highest point of the tire. So when I was driving along and my seat dipped a little guess what hit it? Yeup my plate. Luckily it didn't rip the whole thing off but it did break my under cowl and now the fender eliminator is all loose. You can buy a better one on ebay that extends the plate high and more towards the bike of the bike away from the tire. Whoever made this plate over at Competition Wekes needs better fabrication skills. Also the lights that it comes with are garbage. Some cheap 99 cent store lights. Save yourself the agony of dealing with this product. It looked good for about the first day that my bike sat in my garage and now it is bent out of shape from touching my tire.

Engineered by a butcher
Supplied turn signal light broke so I was forced to used stock lights. This was actually a blessing in disquise as I was able to use stock wiring and plugs. These are better and more secure than that supplied with kit. I have since made a bracket for each side which securely mounts stock lights. This company needs an engineer or at least a mechanic with fabrication skills.

Solid product, terrible instructions
This product has a great finished look and includes new tail lights. It's priced competitively for what is included in the package. Where I find fault is in the installation instructions. The photos included are of poor quality and are in black and white. The included hardware doesn't all fit properly. I found better luck reusing some of the stock bolts. The included wiring diagram was also mislabeled. You must be able to do basic wiring to install this product yourself.
