Good product I knew this had to be one of the first mods on my new-to-me 2009 Ninja 650r. After reviewing my options for a fender eliminator, I settled on the CW kit because I liked the way it cleaned up the rear of the bike best. The kit came in a timely manner thanks to Revzilla. I opened the box and the first thing that came to mind was, I paid over a bill for this? While the product itself is great, I feel it's a little overpriced for what you receive. The kit comes in a stainless steel which did not match my bike in any way, so I decided to paint the peices in a matte black color. After appropriate drying time, I was prepared to install. I looked at the instructions - a black and white fax-copy looking thing with a few words on it. They were clearly written for someone who had already done the work before. They gave me a general idea of what I had to do, but didnt tell me how to do it. Fortunately I'm fairly mechanically inclined so I was able to complete the install without issue, but I could have finished it in half the time had I been provided with more specific instructions. The kit on the bike looks amazing. Seeing the rear cleaned up the way I wanted put me at ease with the inflated price tag and the awful instructions. I would recommend this product to anyone who feels confident working on their own bike. If you are hesitant about cutting electrical wires and tapping into them, let a professional install for you.
