marcus c: You don't have to lower the front. My bike rides just fine. Ihave 1000 miles on them with out lowing the front end and no problems. Dec 6, 2013

Clint M asked: How much do these lower the bike? I'm really not looking to drop it, just need black shocks and nothing fancy. Thanks in advance! Jan 17, 2015

Ralph P: These will drop the bike about an inch and a quarter. You can adjust their height very easily. I've had them on for about 2,000 miles and they've been great. I love the way my bike looks. I also kept the stickers off so they're all black. Good luck. Jan 17, 2015

Clint M: Thanks for the reply. How is the ride and do you bottom out? I'm 260 sitting on a 14' Street Bob and may carry the occasional passenger. Jan 18, 2015
marcus c: This will drop your bike 2 inches. I would suggest another black shock. This will make your ride rougher and you will most likely bottom out. Jan 17, 2015
