Burly Slammer Kit For Harley Touring

Whether you're in it for the look or you have trouble flat-footing your bike, dropping a Harley is pretty de rigueur for the modern rider. Burly hooks it up and makes this as painless as could be - the forks don't need to come out of the trees - even the fork oil can stay put.  The kit's complete to do the rear - the only thing they don't kick in is the jiffy stand.

Features:

  • Includes all the necessary suspension components - springs, spacers, shocks, and covers
  • Will lower the front end up to 2"
  • Will lower the rear end up to 2 1/2"
  • Made in the USA

  • Images are for reference only - kit contents may vary
  • This kit is likely to change how your motorcycle sits when it is on the jiffy stand. It is recommended that the stand be replaced, bent, or cut/welded to accommodate the bike's new lean angle. If you cannot make these modifications safely, please contact your local custom motorcycle shop
  • Not for use with Trike models
  • Fits 84-13 Touring models without cartridge style forks
  • Kit includes spacers to lower by 2"; do not lower Touring models lower than 1" in the front

William M: I put the slammer kit on the dyna. It wasn't a big deal, but it wasn't bolt on, had to get new hardware. I had to get spacers so it wouldn't rub on the fender. It was doable with no hard bags. I would take on this project. Budget a little more time then the 2 hours stated, especially with hard bags. Jun 4, 2014

Jose M: Your gonna need help with the front. The rear shocks swapped easily. But the front springs were a big challenge. Mostly applying enough pressure while tightening the nut. You need a big 3/8th socket and a big wrench. That being wait though, it's not that hard. We did it in about an hour. Jun 4, 2014
