They look great and give a comfortable riding position.

Nice bars, easy install
Easy, straight forward install. Looks great on the sportster 48, with just the right position for me.
Taller than stock, but super narrow! Real reto looking. I didn't internally wire these as I just wanted to ride, but I still may someday.

It took me about an hour to install these. They feel very solid and are obviously way nicer on the eyes than the stock bars. They took me a few miles to get comfortable with and I love the feel of them while I ride. The one thing I have issue with is my mirrors. These bars are narrower than the stock and I can't see anything behind be. Just something to keep in mind. Simple and sweet. I love them.

Excellent quality, great product and priced perfect
I just installed the Biltwell Zed bars and my first impression is this, what a great product for the price. HD bars are almost double the money, and not 4130 chromoly. The install was a breeze with basic tools and common sense. With never installing bars on an HD (my bike is a 13" Iron 883), the install took about 45 mins taking my time. The positioning of the bars give the bike a completely different attitude.
The only reason that I didn't give these bars a perfect 5 across the board is that they don't have knurling for positioning, and the paint seemed thin. Other then that, a super solid product and Biltwell and Revzilla will continue to get my business.

Ian P:I would say no. I didn't have to get longer lines (I have an Iron 883). The brake line to reservoir that is bolted to the top of the tree had to be unfastened and allowed to stretch, I discarded the hose clamp.
These bars are probably the limit of the stock cables before you would have to get longer cables or lines.Sep 17, 2014
What about on a 1200 Custom keeping the factory riser?
I really would like something higher than stock bars but keeping the original riser, that I really like, while being able to stretch back on longer rides without having to add cables. Is it wishful thinking?
