The Sporty 8 seat is a leaner and cleaner version of the stock one-up seat H-D introduced on the Forty-Eight XL a couple years ago. The Sporty 8 is for guys who want the super low-profile and one-up styling of a solo seat, with none of the springs and nose hinges that such a custom set-up normally requires.
Available covered or unfinished

Simple, effective and stylish.
Loads more comfortable then the stock Forty-eight seat, it does have a bit of edge to keep you from sliding back.
It sets the lines and curves of the bike off, but keep in mind, its made for a tiny hiney. Great fit and trim. Install difficulty as low as a scale would go. On the 1 out of 5 Beer scale, 5 being the hardest, this would be a .75

No one has left a review of this seat yet, so I'l be the first. First thing, its basically a spiced up and cushier seat from the HD Forty Eight. The back section is lifted, so there's almost no butt slide, which is nice. The fit and finish are top notch for fake leather. The comfort is far superior to its HD stock counterpart. I've taken it on a few 4 hour rides and felt pretty ok considering how small the seat is. Did I mention that its a pretty lo-pro seat? Looks stellar for that raked-minimalist style. Its a little stiff at first, but it breaks in in week or so. Overall I'm bloody thrilled with the price/comfort/looks. Its NOT a touring seat and many of you wont want to take this for more then a couple hour ride, but you'l look bad-a on the ride. Note on fit; I have a 2006 Sportster Roadster. 04-06 sporties will have to take the ECM unit from underneath the seat and move it below the seat pan area. Its an easy mod and allows the seat to fit the bike. Took me 10 minutes to do with a couple zip ties.

Fabricio A:kind of ... usually it would connect to the front seat and you would screw the back on to the fender. with this seat you can only screw the back part. you would have to adjust the front to screw it in as well.
having said that, i use mine all the time only atached to the back.
