Biltwell Sporty 8 Seat For Harley Sportster 2010-2015
I switched this seat from my stock iron seat, and surprisingly this seat was just as if not more comfortable than the stock seat. The seat gives you the same effect as a springer seat with its low profile but cuts the cost and labor in half with limiting the fabrication and extra work that goes in to installing the seat. I'd highly recommend this seat for anyone who's lolming for that low profile look!

Great seat for the price
This seat is a great upgrade. I needed something different than the stock Sportster 48 seat, which is hard as a rock, and this seat made all the difference. This seat is worth every penny. Its an easy install and after a couple rides to break in the seat it feels great. Only issue I had was that the first production of these seats did not fit the Forty-Eights. I contacted revzilla and they assured me that it was the correct seat but after contacting Biltwell I had to exchange the seat, with Biltewell, because of a change in production when they realized it didn't fit the Forty-Eights. Also the double stitch is no longer offered, it was switched to single swtich. Overall a great seat.

Too Short for a 48
This seat is great! Unfortunately, it does not fit my 2015 XL1200X Sportster 48. Its about an inch too short. If you fit the fender screw in the hold down there is not enough of the lip to fit inside the gas tank hold down lip. What does fit is not enough to keep the seat from flopping up and down up front. If you push the lip into the front hold down the back is about an inch short of the hole for the rear fender screw. I was really looking forward to this new seat. It looks cool and feels really good. Just doesn't fit.

Simple, effective and stylish.
Loads more comfortable then the stock Forty-eight seat, it does have a bit of edge to keep you from sliding back.
It sets the lines and curves of the bike off, but keep in mind, its made for a tiny hiney. Great fit and trim. Install difficulty as low as a scale would go. On the 1 out of 5 Beer scale, 5 being the hardest, this would be a .75

No one has left a review of this seat yet, so I'l be the first. First thing, its basically a spiced up and cushier seat from the HD Forty Eight. The back section is lifted, so there's almost no butt slide, which is nice. The fit and finish are top notch for fake leather. The comfort is far superior to its HD stock counterpart. I've taken it on a few 4 hour rides and felt pretty ok considering how small the seat is. Did I mention that its a pretty lo-pro seat? Looks stellar for that raked-minimalist style. Its a little stiff at first, but it breaks in in week or so. Overall I'm bloody thrilled with the price/comfort/looks. Its NOT a touring seat and many of you wont want to take this for more then a couple hour ride, but you'l look bad-a on the ride. Note on fit; I have a 2006 Sportster Roadster. 04-06 sporties will have to take the ECM unit from underneath the seat and move it below the seat pan area. Its an easy mod and allows the seat to fit the bike. Took me 10 minutes to do with a couple zip ties.
