Easy upgrade to an old bike
The stock grips on my '77 CB750k were a bit narrow for my larger hands and my hands would cramp a bit after 30-40 minutes of riding. These were a sub 5 minute install and added both a thicker grip and more ergonomic shape and are much more comfortable. I cannot yet comment on durability, but hey, they're grips; kind of a consumable item in my mind.

Great custom detail for my bike
Solid feel and perfect shape. Inexpensive but not cheaply made. The details are nice. I also liked the fact that the color is as classy as it looked in the website. Oxblood red as described. This goes well on my black café racer and I am matching my seat with this color.

Comfortable, Solid, Simple
Like most biltwell grips, the “cushion for the pushin’” is decent, but definitely not the softest grips I’ve come across. They do next to nothing for reducing fatigue or vibration, however they look the business and the grip is rock solid and true. Easy install, flawless victory (aesthetically, anyway).

Simple cheap grips
Decent grips that are a massive upgrade over the stock 40 year old grips on my bike. They were about 1/2 in shorter than the stocks so I had to move the control down the bars a bit. Much nicer with the vibrations on a long ride.

Fatter, easier on the palms. Rubber on the outside that I could easily cut off for bar end mirrors.

Looks good and cheap. Worth trying out before I completely redo the bar and hand controls.

Will these fit a 2014 vstrom 1000?
Adam E on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Adam, I'm not sure what size handlebars your bike has but I would check with Biltwell Co. if you cant match the size fitment on this website. My 2015 Harley Sportster 883N has 1 1/4 in thick bars and they fit perfect. love the feel on them and I wear XL size gloves. Hope this helps!
What is the outside diameter of these grips? I am looking for grips that are bigger around then the stock grips on my 2013 Triumph Daytona 675r.

BEST ANSWER: The center is 1 9/16 on the throttle side and 1 1/2 on the clutch side. They're about 1 5/16 at the tapered ends.
I cut the tips off mine to put on bar ends. I like the feel, kind of like the '69 Daytona I rode bay back when. Very comfortable on my '85 BMW K100.
What is the length? 4.72"? 4.92"?
650 on Aug 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I cut the ends off to insert metal bar ends. I cover 4 5/8" on the throttle and 4 7/8" on the left.
