Biltwell Recoil 7/8" Grips

Injection-molded Krayton synthetic rubber, classic old-timey looks, and a "grip" of cool colors to choose from.  (See that? That joke? That was funny.)

This is a universal fit part; it may or may not fit without modification.

  • 7/8" bars are typically found on metric and British applications - please measure bar OD before ordering

Easy upgrade to an old bike The stock grips on my '77 CB750k were a bit narrow for my larger hands and my hands would cramp a bit after 30-40 minutes of riding. These were a sub 5 minute install and added both a thicker grip and more ergonomic shape and are much more comfortable. I cannot yet comment on durability, but hey, they're grips; kind of a consumable item in my mind. August 31, 2015
Great product for price Cheap price and awesome grip... Also adds the retro look to go with the zed bars. Very comfortable and easy to install. August 31, 2015
You're gonna wanna take off your gloves!!!! The quality is amazing and the texture feels twice as good as it looks, feels right on the hand. It's a Grip for your Buck!! June 16, 2015
pretty good I like how thick these grips are, they fit my hand really nicely and I like the way they look. Maybe I have a strong grip but they wore down pretty quick. I put them on in late August and a lot of the texture wore down and the left grip is a bit sticky from the top layer being gone. I also wish they had an option to have them open on the ends. I use bar end mirrors, so we cut the ends but on the side with the trottle it pushed out the edges weird so it looks a bit sloppy if you look up close. May 25, 2015
best grips ever! these grips are awesome. super comfortable and look great. April 20, 2015
Nice grips for my 2013 Sportster 48 These grips look sweet and go on easy. Not sure why they say you need an aftermarket throttle tube, but I just cut off my old factory grips and slid these on. Used a bit of spray glue on both sides and let them dry for a few hours before riding. Feel nice and fat, no hand fatigue. Knurled rubber may be rough if you have soft hands without gloves. Otherwise great buy! March 16, 2015
Simple cheap grips Decent grips that are a massive upgrade over the stock 40 year old grips on my bike. They were about 1/2 in shorter than the stocks so I had to move the control down the bars a bit. Much nicer with the vibrations on a long ride. June 23, 2014
Nice Grips Huge upgrade over the stock grips on my XR1200. Much more comfortable and look great. Very reasonable price. July 9, 2014

Rick N: The center is 1 9/16 on the throttle side and 1 1/2 on the clutch side. They're about 1 5/16 at the tapered ends.
I cut the tips off mine to put on bar ends. I like the feel, kind of like the '69 Daytona I rode bay back when. Very comfortable on my '85 BMW K100.
