nice squish I liked these a lot better than the stock HD grips which had almost no give to them. September 21, 2015
Biltwell always does it right! This product really pulled my bike together. The style is great, they are comfortable, and it gives you that flashback feeling of riding your bike around the neighborhood as a youngster. I used a little soap and water and they slid right on. You can't beat this deal. August 17, 2015
I thnik they are really poor quality They have been on my bike for less than 5 months and they are falling to pieces since like the third month. June 4, 2015
Exactly what I wanted I put the natural color grips on my 1975 Honda CL360 and they rock. The natural color isn't orange like the pic looks but more like a surgical tubing rubber color. Orange-ish tan. But I love the look. They feel great too. Thick and cushy grips. They almost feel like my old beach cruiser grips. Went on fairly easy, haven't budged, and are holding up great. Primo Grips Great grips. Easy to hang on to. Good bare handed or with gloves. Damps down the vibes a bit. Quality goods. May 4, 2015
Good if you don't cut them for bar end mirrors The grips look and feel great; however, after cutting the ends off to run bar end mirrors, the throttle grip quickly started to split all the way through, which has not happened with other grips that I've had to cut. I still "recommend" them because I don't think there'd be a problem when not cutting them. November 3, 2014
KUNG PAO! So far so good, ordered the 7/8 in. grips by mistake, called back, REV had no issue and were very helpful. Made it very easy for me. Ordered the correct ones right on the spot and sent the old ones back same day. As far as the grips, the are very... "grippy." haha One other guy said it before, they are like the old BMX style grips. They have that throwback flare with better effort in their build. Great grip with gloves on, or off. Revzilla... awesome. I will definitely have my customers' check you guy's out here from Hampton Roads Harley Davidson. > A+ service Cheers, Brandon McMullen September 9, 2014
Squishy and not ugly. These are functional, comfortable and attractive grips. If they seem like they'd look good on your bike, you'll be pleased. August 8, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Jake S: i moved from the AVON PM knockoffs to these for comfort. they're great and they only cost $15-20.00 so I'm ok with having to replace them in a couple months. Aug 12, 2015
O P: With hope that I will regain some sensation back in my hands after riding my Harley. Jun 4, 2015
Thomas F: Girlfriends bikes handlebars are a little too slippery and vibrate a bit. Oct 9, 2014

Klint K: Squishy and grippy, feels great in the hand. Jul 16, 2014
Christopher R asked: Did you have to get an aftermarket throttle tube for this? Jul 18, 2014

Mike C: You will need to use a throttle tube with these grips. The stock one will do but so will any inexpensive aftermarket version that has the correct fitment. Just make sure you get the correct 1" throttle tube for either an older single cable or newer dual cable throttle depending on what your bike currently has on it. Jul 18, 2014

Collin T: For the Yamaha Bolt, no. I did cut the factory tube down a bit (length) for my previous grips and would have done the same for these, but that's just so there's not a little gap...aesthetics. Jul 18, 2014

A S: You don't have to. They slid right onto my bars and factory Harley throttle tube with some soapy water. There is no need for glue on these. They will stay on the bars very firm Jul 18, 2014

Denton W: Yeah the stock grip was glued on heavily so I just bought an aftermarket one. If you've got the time you can clean off the stock grips though. Jul 18, 2014

Joshua L: i got them to go with my whiskey throttle. i think you'll most likely need an aftermarket tube. the throttle side grip is wider. Jul 18, 2014

Mat F: Tested them out on a triumph, so no. Ended up going with a different grip. Jul 18, 2014

Bobby D asked: Do these grips go over my existing ones? If so, is it simply the "snug fit" that keeps them on? Sep 8, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Nathaniel J: These grips replace your existing grips. The Kung Fu Grips you purchase come with a right and a left grip. The left is intended to slide directly on to the handlebar and the right grip, which is slightly wider, goes on to your throttle tube. The Biltwell Whiskey Throttle [tube] is what I used to ensure proper fit. It's not noted here but on the Biltwell website they recommend using 3M Super 77 adhesive. If you use standard "griplock" or similar the rubber could breakdown and deteriorate. I used the 3M adhesive and it worked well. Just make sure to slide the grip on to the bar or tube quickly after applying the adhesive, as it will dry quickly. There are a ton of videos on YouTube that show step by step of how to remove/install grips. Biltwell's website also has some nice tips and tricks. Overall I do like these grips. The aesthetic is cool, very much like a BMX grip. I've ridden about 2,000 miles on the grips with no problems. If you do a lot of long distance riding you may want to consider something else, but if customization and "bar hopping" is your thing then these are the grips for you. Sep 12, 2014

Mike C: Make sure if you have 7/8" bars you are using the 7/8" grips and the same goes for the 1" bars and grips. They should be a close enough fit that they would not be able to go over your existing grips. You then take your existing grips off and the smaller of the two new grips goes on the clutch side and the larger of the two grips goes over the stock throttle sleeve. Clean surfaces and some grip glue should help keep em in place. These grips are very soft and comfortable. Sep 12, 2014

Nick F: First of all no. You'll have to cut or remove your old ones haha. Second of all pretty much they'll be fine just slipped on, it's a snug fit. But you can use 3m adhesive spray to make sure Sep 11, 2014
